I am having the same issue. I disabled ALL my addons and reenabled them one at a time. Healbot was last to be enabled without any problems from my other addons, but once Healbot was enabled, I can see my OWN portrait, but can not see or click on party members. If you need more information, please email me.

Up til now I have never had problems changing between skins and where my tank skin postitions healbot as very small in the right bottom corner, and when i heal it's large and in the middle.

It seems like it adopts the postion it had when you logged in, and passes this on to the other skins.

Another things is that I have 2 healers, and it uses the last skin i choose no matter what char I'm on. Skinchoice pr. char would be helpful, but offcause all skins awailable for all chars.

Okay so I got the new version yesterday and ever since I got it this annoying castbar for my target's spells is appearing in a really annoying place. Now I use Healbot while tanking for very minimal purposes but also heal on occasion so I already have an addon for the target's castbar.

    The problem:

I can't find where to turn the damn thing off I've been through every window looking for the option asked our guild's healers and none of them seem to have any idea. Seriously how do I get rid of it? It's in the worst possible place for my UI.

Oh and before you can ask I know it's healbot because while looking for the offending addon that's causing the castbar I was turning off addons one at a time on my character selection screen. So when I turned off healbot BAM the cast bar is gone.

Is there any way of updating this w/ the curse client without it resetting the Sharedmedia folder back to default?

Hey, just want to say awesome addon m8, been using it for a long time now. However, with the last update I appear to have a problem. Whenever I swap toons HB loads the previous settings used - i.e. when on shammy healing I have it set to be prominent, when I swap to my tankadin it should only appear in one corner with no real presence as I do not heal on this toon, problem is it defaults to my shammys setup. If I change the skin to my tankadin all is well but if I then relog shammy it appears with the tankadins skin now :( Never had any probs before. Have deleted all the folders/saved variables and started again but no change, any thoughts/ideas?
thx anyway, even with this niggle still a great addon :)

Hey, I've updated to the most recent version and I can't seem to get rid of the pets' raid frames. I can't even move them. Any ideas on how to get rid of them?

I've disabled pet frames in options and have set the number of pet frames to zero, but they keep showing up.

  • Love the add on you made. Great job. Makes being resto druid easy sauce. Here are the things that could be even better. The options menues are far from user friendly. I can find no scale slider to change the size of the add on, this is no place to be capable of changeing the bar colors (if I am mistaken on this please let me know). Is their a way that this add on can be connected to X-pearl? Would be intresting to see how that would work. The diffrent skins are cool, but I dont like the way that they are predetermined on the size of the frame. that should be up to us the user, this took me way to long to figure out what I wanted compared to some one that knows it better than I.

I still like the add on, and think it's great to use when I heal. Just need the options more user friendly.

    Hello,

Awesome mod! Been healing for about 4 months now and I only use Healbot to do it with. I do have a couple questions though...

I just "upgraded" to the newest version today. I had been running an older Healbot from a few months ago. I believe it was a 3.0.x version. Instead of deleting my exisiting installation, I "overwrote" with the newer version. I don't know if that could be causing my problems or not. Anyway, I am having some wierd things happening.

    1. Occasionally, party members do NOT show up in the "healing pane". I have to click on "options" and then "reload the UI" for them to show up. Also, sometimes that will be DUAL entries in the "healing pane" for party members. Again, reloading the UI always fixes the problem.

    2. Clicking on NPC's in the game adds them into the "healing pane". This didn't happen with the older version of Healbot I had been using.

    3. Healbot totally "freaked" out on me earlier today and started firing off random spells without me doing anything. In fact, I removed my hands from the keyboard and it was still firing away. When I moved my toon, it seemed to "break" whatever was going on and all returned to normal.

Again, I still love Healbot and will continue to use it even with the above few problems. I think I will just delete and reinstall the entire directory and see if that has any affect.

    Thank you

    Greetings StrifeCUK,

thanks for Healbot, I am using it since it exists. I am again much more into healing again and I have a HUGE issue and maybe you can help me out.

There is this Out of Range Transparency. For me its set to 0%. My Inactivity Transparency is set at 30% and my Active Transparency is set to 100%. Incoming Healing is set to 50%.

So far everything works nice, BUT... in raids as a Druid I can't heal a few people. They still seem to be in range, but they are not. The update is set to 0.05 secs and I have a low ping + quadcore machine. It seems to ignore the Out of Range Transparency completely and I have no clue why. My healing range is 40 yards, is there something set wrong or is there maybe a bug or so? Is the Out of Range Transparency setting using my 40 yards?

Second question is. If I HoT Rejuvenation or Regrowth it only shows me the last 9 seconds, is there a switch so I can let it show the full time? It would be nice so I can react a bit better in preparing my hots on many single targets.

Under settings, skin and incoming healings, what are these settings for pls?

    Thanks kindly for your help,

    Max

    I've just ssem this switch:

Deactivate Bars if range is >100 yards.

It would be very nice if you could add something for 40 yards, because if someone runs out of my healrange... turn the bar off ^^

    Thanks so much,

    Max

I posted a while back on October 27th about trying to change the setup so that we could specify some way of having groups be by row versus column. Would it be possible to get a response? I understand that Healbot does not currently have a way of achieving this. What I would like to know (and it appears a few others as well) is could you and would you consider making a change to support this?

    Thanks!

Problem. When I try to update this (I have the update before last) it overwrites my SharedMedia folders which is used by a few other addons I have, and a ton of my fonts go missing. Just deleting and replacing the "HealBot" folder doesn't seem to trigger the update either. I need to keep the fonts already in that folder otherwise my other addons go wonky. How do I go about updating this correctly without screwing it up horribly?

I'm using a modified version of DegausserUI, and it's a pain to have to reinstall the thing and modify it again. So if there's an easy way to fix this, YAY! :D
