FlagRSP2 is an AddOn for World of Warcraft that allows players to add additional information about their characters into the game. It is designed to support role players and allow others with FlagRSP2 and RSP compatible AddOns to easily see if the character is a role player or is even in character. Characters can be fleshed out with additional names, titles, and detailed descriptions.

FlagRSP2 is a continuation of flagRSP 0.5.6 by Flokru. FlagRSP2 is a completely new code base designed to be more efficient and play well with other AddOns.

If your FlagRSP2 copy is OLDER than 1.5.x you should delete the FlagRSP2 directory first!(The Curse Client will do this for you if you use that.) Copy the "flagRSP2" folder into your World of Warcraft AddOns folder. Before selecting your character and entering the game other AddOns such as flagRSP 0.5.6, flagRSP BC, and ImmersionRP must be disabled to prevent conflicts.

If you really like this AddOn and would like to help support it, there are a couple of things you can do. You can help by providing clear bug reports that try to accurately describe the problem and screenshots are helpful. Submit your trouble ticket here.

If you need LibDataBroker support install the FuBar2Broker AddOn. This will automatically migrate FlagRSP2's minimap and FuBar support to your LDB viewer.

    Okay, this has really been ticking me off, I accidentally hit something, and now no matter what options I select/deselect I can't get any descriptions to come up anymore. I tried deleting both my WTF character folder, and the addon folder, then re-installing, but it's not working, the Config is obviously being saved somewhere else, because my description is still in the window.

    How do I completely purge this addon and every file related to is So I can re-install it fresh?

    Somebody on the moon guard server passworded the channel and essentially broke it for the rest of our side, is there a fix for this?

    I was there when it happened, and an addon can't control a chat channel so there's nothing that can be done. However when it was reported to a GM, a Game Master actually showed up in Ironforge causing chaos while he fixed the channel for the Alliance roleplayers :)

    If you installed r98 or higher, go back to using 2.0.10 here on Curse.com. The only version with that issue is the very experimental developmental builds I have been working on.

    Maybe this is the dumbest question ever...but...how do I use this addon?? I don't see a button anywhere for it, there were no messages at login, and no other evidence that it is even working. Please help?

    I'm having some trouble with the new update; there doesn't seem to be an easy way to change settings on Flag anymore, since the Options tab is gone. I tried following the different commands that pop up with /rsp, but when it gets to the ridiculously long prompt needed for options nothing seems to work. Any help?

    Press Escape to bring up the game menu, click Interface, click the AddOns tab, and go to FlagRSP2. FlagRSP2 uses the standard AddOns interface now.
    You are supposed to be able to right click the scroll icon to bring up the options, but there is a bug affecting some configurations that it does nothing instead.

    ok, i dont care if this sounds stupid, but im having trouble w/ my charater descriptions/titles. every time i write one then log off, the descriptions/titles are gone, and i have to start over. am i missing something >.< ....? is there a button that saves the description that i'm not seeing?

    You probably need to delete the saved variables under the WTF folder for flagRSP2 to reset your profile. It sounds like it has become corrupted.

    A friend of mine is using this AddOn and it works fine for him.
    I'm using windows vista, and I'm following all of his instructions that worked for him.

    However, WoW won't recognize this AddOn.

    I've purged all entries, deleted all FlagRSP folders and reinstalled, and the same error occurs each time I scroll over names in the viewer.
