I LOVE this addon and I am so thankful that you updated it for 2.0! However, I have found a bug that I have narrowed down to CEM. It leaves a gray rectangle on my screen that is the same dimension as the damage monitor. I have that feature disabled, but I still have the grayed out box on my screen.

How about a means to import/export triggers, so we can share? Writing to/reading from the system clipboard would suffice.

  • Please add CHAT_MSG_SYSTEM. I'm trying to add a Hello CEM_TARGET message in /g that responds to logon events it detects [PLAYER] comes online.

It's more difficult than it has to be.

I understand that CHAT_MSG_SYSTEM Messages are not always the same structure, but I'm sure there's a way to do it that is easier than what I'm doing currently.

This is a very GOOD addon. Please keep up the good work.

  • Torrid, I never use the dynamic key or damage monitor's click to heal features. I don't even use the damage monitor itself.

What I do use is the trigger stuff, which will allow me to say/do something in raid chat after a monster/player does a yell/action/applies or receives a certain debuff/etc. I was basically able to make my own "boss mods" on the fly. Would THAT feature be broken in WoW 2.0? If not, is it possible for you to make a new version for 2.0?

    I'd greatly appreciate it.

That feature still works, yes. I will be releasing a version with all of the functionality that isn't broken.

Edit: Alright, I just finished making 1.16. Download it at

and let me know if you find any bugs. Thanks

Would it be possible to make it say something when a random friendly player dies, and use their name in the say?

    For example:

In the combat log, I see: playerx has died.

I would then want do to: /say playerx has failed at life...

I've been fooling around, but nothing has seemed to work

The game freezes, if someone wrote in a "private" channel a "%" at the end.

For example: [7.forroxxors] [XYZ]: Twins are on 10%

We tested that and found really out: if you write something like this, every user (in the channel) with CEM will get a freeze. Other users dont get a freeze.

Most times only the reset-button can help you out of this problem.

Edit: we use all the german-client, if that makes a difference ^^

Would be nice to have a check box option to say wether to show just party and/or raids. Show Just Party: Yes/No Show Just Raid: Yes/No Show just Part & Raid : Yes/No Im finding that as a priest im wasting alot of mana healing those around me not in my party/raid, so it would be awesome to filter them out.

Other than that I love this mod its very very helpful.

One bug I have found however is as a low low level char when i try to cast lesser heal (rank 1) on myself with the damage meter to cast, it cast fort everytime. Lesser Heal (Rank 2) seems to be working.

im trying to use this to trigger a raid shout when someone gets hit by greater than say 10k shadow damage. could you possibly help me with that? I dont need it to say something anytime anyone is hit by shadow damage, but just when its above a certain amount. oddly enough dark glare is a problem for my guild and if we could see whos repeatedly getting hit it would help knowing who needs to be replaced

    edit: got it

I have white transparent boxes, three of them, showing on mouseover. That supposed to happen? I have no queues or commands made yet.

theres some events i cant seem to figure out how to capture and wanted to know if maybe its just not possible and if maybe could be implemented in a future version.

friendly players spell or skills or more specifically i wanted to do two things, i wanted to be able to alert the raid when a taunt has been missed, or when a kidney shot has been missed or has become immune (anub'rhekan adds) player emotes i wanted to be able to auto return emotes when it sees certain emotes. creature emotes doesnt seem to pick them up so i wanted to do know if it was possible with players too.

  • This is a great addon. I use it all the time, and can't really live without it. Would you perhaps, think about updating this for the Burning Crusade? I will gladly help you test it. At this time, none of the drop-down options work in the beta, rendering it useless. :(
