    sorry, havnt checked here in a while, usually over at wowinterface. I got a bit carried away with this and started rewriting it from scratch with a more intuitive config and a lot less code.

    I love how this mod should work, have been looking for something exactly like it. However, having no gui for it is really testing my patience as im not very good with the commands so I will not use it for now. Will definately come back and give it a try once GUI is implemented and we can just drag and drop where the anchor is for the mod. Thanks!

    I've been looking for exactly this for a long time and was just doing a final check before attempting it myself! That new version looks absolutely incredible - really nice work.

    If you have Spectre7's problem of having no functionality but with no errors etc then it's probably because some other mod is hiding the whole BuffFrame - try typing "/run BuffFrame:Show()" - if you now have the display this is indeed your problem.

    May I make some suggestions you've probably already thought of? Ideally I'd like the option to grow the buffs up from the bottom of the HUD-space as well as have the buffs on the inside of the HUD (requiring new column creation in different directions). If it's possible to do with configuration I'm dumb and have missed it. Running this and SimpleAuraFilter seems impossible. Though, I think I see you've got code setup already to do something similar? Another solution would be to hide all buffs unless they arrive during combat (I don't care greatly that Arcane Brilliance has 53minutes left but I am keen to know when I have boss-related buffs, the crit buff at Loatheb for example).

    I hadn't thought about the buff's growing up instead of down, i'll include that in the next version. Not quite sure what you mean about buffs on the inside of the HUD though?
    I didn't know that SimpleAuraFilter existed, but yes, i plan to make BuffUD do something fairly similar.
    Hopefully the buff showing will become fairly intelligent, e.g.:
    If you are in a raid, and you don't have Arcane Brilliance, and you are a class that needs it, then an icon will show up telling you that you don't have it(and maybe clicking it will report to the raid that you need it)
    If you have it, and it still has a good duration left on it (more than 10 minutes for example) it wont show up at all, even in combat (unless you set a modifier to show it regardless.)
    In this way I hope to tidy up the buff frames into only showing what you need to know, if the buff icon isn't there, you either already have it, or there's no one in your raid that can give it to you.

    Still working on the next version at the moment, its taking a while because i have exams, and im completely re-coding some parts now that my understanding of lua has improved a bit. Plus i keep getting distracted with spin-offs (See Swish: http://www.wegame.com/watch/swish5)

    If I move the buffs so that they're inside the HUD and anchored nicely they will grow to down then spill to the left so when new buffs are added they'd cover the HUD. An option to switch the direction new columns are added in would cover this usage though it would risk spreading buffs right over the centre of the screen :( Is the a maximum display buffs setting?

    If you would be interested I would be able to implement some features though I would understand very well if you wanted to keep it a personal project.

    ahh yeh i see what you mean. Both of those would probably take about 2 lines of exta code each, so i'll add them in no problem :)

    if anyone wants it, im also planning on allowing individual buff icons to be moves, e.g. the three buffs with the shortest time left of them show in one place, then the next 4 or 5 show in another place, or however you lay it out :)

    thanks for the update...i now have my buffs around my archud....looks very very nice...thank you..
    i can't seem to get my weapon buffs to move... as a rogue i put poisons on my weapons but the buff just stays in the normal area up by the minimap. not sure why...any info on why that may be...?

    I've tried for example;
    /bh buffx5 doesn't work
    /bh buff5x doesn't work
    /bh buffx 5 doesn't work
    /bh buffx - 5 doesn't work and lastly,
    /bh 5buffx doesn't work

    I'm assuming that the center of the screen would by 0,0
    so what X and Y values are the edges of the screen, so we know what a ballpark figure is when we move them.

    Seems like a nice hud...i just want to move them a bit closer to the center.
