  • About Buffed!
  •

Please note that this update is an early Beta, and should be treated as such. Also, you will need to wipe your savedvariables.
New in 2.0 are the duration bars: these can be individually moved (left click dragging) and resized (right click dragging.) As always, changing the properties of the 'M' frame will change every bar's properties at once. Enjoy!

Outline:
This aims to be a highly customisable, easy to use, lightweight buff frame mod.

Features:
-Set the number of buffs/debuffs/target buffs/ target debuffs you want to see.
-Each buff icon can be individually:
Resized
Repositioned
Changed opacity (alpha)

-Any Buff can be added to a 'buff filters' list, which allows:

Positioning of certain buffs to always show up in the same place, with their own designated opacity and size.
Buff 'Blacklist': Always hide buffs you never want to see by adding them to ther filter list, and setting thier alpha to 0

Positioning of buffs aided by:
Sticky Sizing: Placing a buff near another buff will attempt to set the buff to the same size as the others.
Sticky Positioning: Aims to align nearby buffs along their x and y axis.
Sticky Padding: Aims to prevent buffs from overlapping each other, and space them out evenly from one another
The 'Master' (M) Frame: all changes made to this frame will be reflected onto all the other frames.

Need to do:
Sliders to set padding distance.

http://www.wegame.com/watch/buffed_animation_testing/
http://www.wegame.com/watch/buffed_combat_testing2/

How to use:
-Type /buffed to enable the draggable frames, and the same to disable them
-Right click each buff to change its properties, eg resizable.
-Left click to drag them wherever you want.
-Scroll wheel on the frames to fine tune their position (shift + scroll wheel to change horizontal)
-Right click on the white 'M' Frame for additional configuration such as filtering targets buffs, or to change the settings of all of the buff frames at once.

-Shift left-clicking a buff while not in the configuration mode will add it to a special 'filter frame.' This causes that buff to always show up in the same place, and can be used to 'blacklist' buffs - never showing certain ones, or to make that one buff always show up in a more obvious position, instead of being mixed in with your other buffs.

Also check out the options in the blizzard interface options (ill make a direct slash command to open it up when i get the chance)

Please let me know any extra features you would like to see in future versions, thanks!

First of all thx for this very nice interesting looking mod, keep it up^^

    Suggestions/Questions
+ It would be very nice to have a master frame for each group:
    buffs/debuffs/target buffs/ target debuffs
+ After detaching a buffslot/s from its grp, I try to attach it again to its grp, to be able to move them again as one grp. Have not found a solution yet how to do it :)
+ Is it possible to assign a debuff slot with his own position/size to a specific debuff, for example Living Bomb. Have not found a solution yet how to do it.

    best wishes
    aeon

Is this addon's functionality compatible with other addons that change the appearance of buffs to bars, like CT_Buffmod or Simple Buff Bars? I'm basically looking for an addon that does what your addon does, but displays buffs as drop-down bars instead of icons.

This addon now has duration bars, but you currently cant have just the bars without the icons. Check out http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info12613-Buffed.html until i have had time to update the info here. Thanks.

I tell a lie you can hide the icons, you'd just have no idea what the buff was. (unless you gave each buff its own color!)

There seems to be an issue with saving settings.. I've checked to show weapon enchanments/poisons yet every time I relog, the check box is cleared again.

thanks. it appears that while the weapon enchants are actualy saved to beign hidden/shown, the checkbox isn't. I'm working on a better options menu, so hopefully this will be sorted soon(tm)

As of 3.1 there is a problem with filtering, altough its filtered to show only my debuffs on target, it shows all debuffs of everyone. Would like a fix about that.

This is exactly what i was looking for... but i only need the debuff frames.

Could you make a simple menu to enable or disable used frames? Think I'm going to disable this addon until I can do this b/c there are way too many frames to position.

K, I was reading the release notes and it seems you've already done this. Is there more to be added in the "how to use" or did this get changed, or broken? Or am I just missing something?

I found it. I was looking for a config command, other addons will use a txt command to open the interface options page. =P

sorry, i really should add that, as well as a better description of how to use this addon.

    erm:
grid is a raid frame addon, this is a buff frame addon.
This doesnt aim to do anything smartbuff does.
you can still right click buffs to remove them as normal.

    No, that's what I meant - right-clicking buffs to remove them doesn't work. :(
Oh, and menu options that are toggles really ought to have an indicator that shows whether they're currently on or off. I'd also love it if the buttons were kept square when resizing them; as it is now, I have to be very careful not to distort them. Another thing is that there are only 10 squares for buffs, but in a raid I usually have many more. What happens if I get more than 10 buffs?

I'm not sure what version you had when you posted that but:
the right clicking has always worked fine as far as i know.
if there wasnt an option to change the number of buffs shown, there is now.

    Thanks

Great, I'll install it again and try it out right away! Thanks!

I tried it, and it's much better; only now I have another problem: whenever I resize a buff and I right-click it to make it unresizable again, it snaps back to the old size.

eek! does it happen for all of them? are you sure you aren't clicking 'reset size'? :)
