  • Move your buff display
  • Change the layout (size, padding, expansion directions)
  • Stick one buff container to another
  • Buff sorting by name or time left

  • This mod can show only 20 buff?
I don't find the option to increase the number of buff showed.

I need to show more than 20 buff.

Only the preview shows 20 buffs to not clutter up your screen during configuration. When you have 30 buffs, Buffalo3 will show 30 buffs. When you have 100 buffs, it will show 100 buffs (minus those that don't fit on the screen).

The tooltip is covering the buff frames.
    open buffalo.lua at line 924 GameTooltip:SetOwner(button, "ANCHOR_BOTTOM", 0, -25)
I've set -25 height to don't make the tooltip cover the buffs, do the same for line 935 and 938, otherwise you can't cancel your buffs.

I had the same issue, but I found that disabling/enabling the buffs fixed it. My problem is that I can't get the Blizzard default bars to go away. I have to constantly enable/disable them even though it's checked to disable.

So, having a problem similar to Jh00, no matter what I try, I only get one buff for my weapon buffs -- whichever one I've applied most recently. The only thing that (temporarily) works, is if i Reset Profile, ReloadUI, and then cast the weapon buffs. And that -only- works the first time, after that, I get the same effect.

When I log in and cast Windfury on both my weapons, the buff show up for each one. Later, while playing, I don't know why, one of the weapons "disappears" from the buff frame, even though it is still buffed. When this happen, no matter what I do, only 1 weapon show in the buff frame.

I thought THIS was at last the buff manager addon I was looking for, but... It's out of date, and, when I force it to load, it doesn't work properly (eg. the whole option page is blank, and I can't even unanchor the frames), so... it's useless, until you please update it :-)

    Another bug report.

I'm dualspecced dps and tank on my druid. Dps spec has the master shapeshifter talend, while the tank spec doesn't.

When I change from dps spec to tank spec while shapeshifted, the "master shapeshifter" buff remains on the bar even though I lost that talent after spec change.

Also the same thing happens the other way round. When going tank->dps, the "master shapeshifter" icon doesn't appear on the bar. I need to switch to casting stance and back to kitty for it to refresh.

  • I'm seeing no timers for my buffs frame. It's enabled; no idea why it isn't there :/.

Also, can you make the weapon buff frame only 2 items large? Seems kinda silly to have it all 20 items when you can only have 2 equipped weapons.

I think I've seen this option *somewhere* but I can't remember where. Anyway, could you add an option to change timers to 'exact timers'? I mean that everytime you pop a 30min buff, you see 30:00, 29:59, etc.

Can you filter according to 'CAN BE DISPELLED'?

Another idea I've had is to add a system of filtering the buffs you've got. Maybe create a box in which you could type the names of buffs that you would like to not be displayed (e.g. Haunted buff).

BTW... check the feedback on curseforge in the custom sorting ticket ;)

I really love this addon, but since 3.2 i haven't been able to get it working. It says out of date even with current release and i've tried loading out of date addons, but still nothing.

It's normal that the latest version is still "out of date" (I just forgot to bump the toc number before tagging it), but it should still load when you check "load out of date addons". At least it does for me. Are you sure it is checked for the character you use? Have you tried just typing "/buffalo3" in the chat frame?

First of all, keep up the good work, I really love the addon.

    I'd like to report/suggest 3 things.

    1. There seems to be a bug with mounted combat (eg. argent tournament) and number of shields. Regardless of how many shields I've got on me, the buff icon has 3 stacks.

    2. I had this bug once, I tried reproducing it but today it somehow didn't work. One time, I cast lifebloom on myself and shapeshifted into a kitty. I remember the timer on lifebloom changing to a different number, frezing, and the text becoming yellow. After the proper time, the buff vanished though.

    3. About sorting. I didn't notice the default blizz ui option to sort de/buffs by the time they appeared. What I would very much like to see is a combination of that and that method which is used with sorting buffs by their timer. To give you an example: buffs with no timer, like auras, move left (my ui is set so that first buffs appear in the middle of the screen and go left, debuffs go right) when new buffs with timers appear. They move left as well when more buffs appear, etc, etc. The point is to make them stay where they were initially placed by the addon. Imagine you have a buff that has got 30min left, and a second one right next to, that has 1min timer. If you cast something with a 15min duration, it would've jumped between those 2, while I'd like it to stand after them. That could also work with recasting, eg. healing on yourself. If you recast a healing spell, the buff icon appears right where it previously was. The same thing would also apply to debuffs.

It might sound a little bit complicated, but I believe this image will clear things a bit.

Having new (and vital) buffs like savage roar stay where they initially appeared, regardless of the name and timer would really make my day.
