This works fine as long as you do /ace2 load baggins_auctioneer what is a way to have it load? I have Auctioneer and beancounter, it won't load on its own.

  • I changed the TOC file to read as follows:

    ## Dependencies: Baggins, BeanCounter
    ## LoadOnDemand: 0
    ## LoadWith: Baggins, BeanCounter

Don't know if all of that is needed, but it now finally works for me right out of the box.

Does this addon actually work? I cannot seem to get the filters to show up. Sounds like a fantastic feature - hope I can get some help :)

I have to agree with Oddible; I can't get the darn thing to work either. I tried with and without baggins_libfilter, I tried with and without libfilter 1.0 and I tried it as the only baggins added filter. All with no joy. Any pointers would be great, because I would really appreciate being able to use this filter as it'll make my life sooooo much easier.

    Thx

It seems like the addon has issues loading up properly. It is set as LoD (Load on Demand) but isn't loaded by Auctioneer (or BeanCounter as it says in the toc). The author has an update on the WoWAce site, which is supposed to load from BtmScan now instead. However, according to the authors of Auctioneer, BtmScan has been replaced by SearchUI so Baggin_Auctioneer *still* does not get loaded (atleast for me) since I don't have BtmScan.

    Solution:

Load it manually by typing this:

    /ace2 load Baggins_Auctioneer

This makes the filters show up in Baggins but I don't know if things are working correctly (haven't played around with it yet).

It's indeed LoD, but it isn't supposed to be loaded BY BeanCounter. It's supposed to be loaded _WITH_ BeanCounter.

    ## LoadOnDemand: 1
    ## LoadWith: BeanCounter

Your comment about a "newer" version on wowace is erronous. Those are old versions you are seeing, that were indeed linked to BtmScan.

Those of you having problems - do you have BeanCounter? Is it loaded when you're having problems? Baggins_Auctioneer uses the data stored in BeanCounter for its filtering, so loading with BeanCounter not present is pointless.

  • Yes, I have BeanCounter, and the LOD most certainly doesn't work. Are you sure BC is loaded at login? I had to set LOD to 0, even after changing the TOC to depend on BC and Baggins, and LoadWith them both -- nothing worked until the LOD was set to 0.
