What is Atlasloot

AtlasLoot Enhanced is an UI mod allowing for loot tables of bosses to be browsed whenever needed within the game. It can access full item tooltips, show drop rates, allow items to be chat linked and to use the dressing room.

Features

  • Drop Rates: Appended to the bottom of the tooltip of an item when moused over (if available).
  • Dressing Room: Control-click items to show them in the Dressing Room.
  • Price Preview: See the prices for token items like PvP rewards.
  • DKP systems: Simply edit the file 'dkp.lua' using data from localization.en.lua (for the item ID numbers) and your guild's fixed price values to allow for DKP values to be shown in the tooltip. The stubs of some Lucifron items have been included to get you started and show you how it's done.
  • Security: AtlasLoot flags as unsafe any items it detects that may cause you to be disconnected from the server if you try to link it in the chat window. To attempt to get the item information from the server, simply right-click on it. Note: you may get disconnected if the item is not available on your server.
  • Instance Loot: All instance loot from every Dungeon (Normal and Heroic) and Raid.
  • World Raid Bosses: Highlord Kruul, Azuregos, Dragons of the Nightmare, Doom Lord Kazzak and Doomwalker.
  • Factions: WoW Factions and Burning Crusade factions rewards.
  • PvP: World PvP Items, Battleground Items including low level items, Honor rewards - Weapons and Armor, Arena Rewards - Weapons and Armor for all seasons.
  • Sets: ZG, AQ20, AQ40, Dugeon 1, 2 and 3, Tier 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 Armor sets, Pre-60 sets, Crafted Sets, Crafted Epic Weapons, Tabards, Rare Mounts, Legendary Items, World BoE Epic Weapons, Heroic Token rewards.
  • World Events: Skettis, Abyssal Council, Ethereum Prison, etc.
  • Season Events: Feast of Winter Veil, Hallow's End, Brewfest, etc.
  • Wishlist: Alt-click on any item to add it to the wishlist, alt-clicking on an item in the wishlist deletes it. There are buttons added to the Atlas panel and the loot browser to open the wishlist.
  • Partial Searching: Allows searching the whole AtlasLoot database for an item where you only know part of the name.
  • Quicklooks: Bind up to four loot tables to 'Quicklook' buttons, allowing you to jump to them with only one click.

Slash Commands

  • '/al' or '/atlasloot' by itself brings up the loot browser.
  • '/atlasloot options' brings up the options menu.
  • '/atlasloot reset' resets the last viewed loot table (fixes disconnects when opening AtlasLoot) and moves all draggable frames back to the middle of the screen.

Latest Beta

We generally do not release beta versions for Atlasloot, but you can update the mod daily through the WoWAce SVN. Please note that we can not guarantee a bug-free and fully functional mod if you update from Ace.

History

AtlasLoot was originally created by Pernicius as a plugin for Atlas and contained a handful of raid loot tables to browse. Unfortunately, Pernicius was unable to maintain the mod, so Daviesh took over and renamed it to AtlasLoot Enhanced to provide a distinction between the two versions. Since that time, AtlasLoot has grown to cover every loot table for every boss, every item set, PvP Items and items for every reputation faction.

This mod is distributed under Version 2 of the GPL. A copy of the GPL is included in this zip file with links to non-English translations.

    First I'd like to say I absolutely love this addon, but one thing I do miss is checking out old content gear drops. Whether it be for alts, guildies at lower levels, and the like. Is there an extention to this mod that can get me back the data? If so, where can I get it?

    OMG i downloaded this but it wont load it into the game in the addons menu before u enter world it doesnt have atlas loot in there it has everything else i downloaded but no atlas loot plz reply

    For some reason, recently the tribute chest loot table is acting strangely. It worked fine about a week or so ago, but now when I select the loot table, it only shows the 10 player loot table, and there is no button/option to switch it back to the 25 player mode and view that loot table.

    If you press 'back' on the tribute chest it may behave in weird ways. This is due to the painful number of loot combinations in ToC. I am not happy about the way this is working and it looks like I will end up doing a 'quick and dirty' fix, as Blizzard said the way loot works is an experiment, and I don't want to waste too much time on an experiement.

    i feel like there has to be some way to use this in conjunction with gear score so that when you look at items gear score would allow you to see the level of the item

    There is no reason why not, but it is easier handled by a gear score mod that hookes the AtlasLoot tooltip than by me trying to reverse engineer something. If all you want is the iLvl, AtlasLoot and the ingame function can give you that.

    One little thing, FYI, AtlasLoot currently does NOT survive intact if you copy your entire AddOns and WTF folders to another drive, then reinstall Windows (in this case I upgraded to Windows 7) then reinstall WoW and copy the AddOns and WTF contents back. All of my other addons (gatherer, VuhDo, Auctioneer, ArkInventory and about 10 others) all worked, but AtlasLoot started throwing Lua errors and refused to load loot tables until I reinstalled it via Curse client. This was not just random either, I actually went through the Windows 7 process more than once because I was testing various hardware configurations. Each time AtlasLoot was the only one of my addons which didn't work after the reinstall + file transfer. A minor issue, but it might be useful in digging up some latent bugs.

    AtlasLoot is highly dependant on your cache directory as well (where WoW stores all the loot information). I would ALWAYS recommend resetting AtlasLoot on a new machine, either through the interface options menu or by typing '/al reset'.

    Hi,
    Is there any chance to make an improvement so this addon can send you an alert when one item in your wishlist drops? Something like: "Hey nub, you are looking for this item, roll for it"
    Ulduar is sooo big and i cant remember all itens i want from there.

    AtlasLoot works on all of my characters except my main. I get the following error message:

    Message: Interface\AddOns\AtlasLoot\Core\AtlasLoot.lua:679: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)

    Any suggestions?

    Go into the AtlasLoot options menu (you can get to it without opening AtlasLoot, in the Blizzard 'Interface Options' section AtlasLoot will be included) and try the different reset buttons.

    New problem, When I try to use "Set Focus" I get error:Error: AddOn AtlasLoot attempted to call a forbidden function (FocusUnit()) from a tainted execution path.

    This is not necessarily an AtlasLoot problem (indeed it is unlikely as I don't hook any of the Blizzard code), it is just a mod that shares a library or hooks part of AtlasLoot. It is generally a process of elimination to find the culprit.
