Would love to see zone names in quest tracker so i can see what is in what area makes it look much nicer too :)

Also instead of haven to shift click the quest in the quest log to add it to the tracker should made it auto add (yes i have the option to automaticly track quests but it does not do that)

  • Using InQuest 2.03, I get this error when I move my mouse to just above the first quest in my tracker window, and just below the tracker header. It happens with 0 or any quests in the tracker.

Here's a screenshot of where I move my mouse in order to get the error (red circle on the right): http://i31.tinypic.com/wvsxnt.jpg

How long has that gap between the top of the tracker and the first quest been there? Can you send me your saved variables file (edited to remove account names)? PM me for my email address.

The only thing i would like added to this, if it isnt already, is where when you have quests from different zones it shows it in the tracker like 5 quests under a heading for Dragonblight, and if you have quests for Ahnkahet it shows it under a header for ahnkahet.

  • Here's what I've done to get it working without errors until it gets updated. In QuestLog.lua I removed the functions QuestLogTitleButton_OnClick and QuestLog_Update (let the blizz stuff handle it for now) as well as the calls to these functions in Inquest:InitializeQuestLog()

This gets rid of the errors, as well as retaining most of the Inquest functionality as well. One thing you'll notice though is that there are no quest levels in your quest log. You will either need to install another mod to do that, or turn on colorblind mode.

Hmm.. I love this addon but now that I've had it for months the only thing that I can't seem to work out is setting the quests to automatically remove themselves after a period of time (like 5 min or so) once completed. This was a nice feature of the default WoW tracker and I would think it would be included in your addon?

The only feature I see if to remove the completed quest RIGHT when you complete them which isn't helpful for me, I'd like to be able to see that I've completed it then it disappear minutes later, per the default tracker

    Is this possible?

    Reply Report Permalink
  • arnath2 said

It does this automatically when you have auto quest progress turned on (but not the rest of the time). Are you saying you want this to be a feature you can toggle?

    Reply Report Permalink
  • photekk said

If it does it automatically it's not working for me. I have "Automatic quest tracking" and "Automatic quest progress updates" both turned on and once a quest is completed it never leave my quest tracker until I manually remove it.
