  • About ActionPad2
  •

Replaces the default 1-10 buttons in the WoW interface with a pad of 16 buttons located around ESDF movement. Allows custom switching of pads based on player character forms (Druids,Warriors,etc...). Allows toggling of pads based on modifier keys (ALT,CTRL,SHIFT).

Provides a reconfigured hot button set in a 16
button configuration on 4 rows of 5 keys
indented to be around the ESDF movement keys.
It also gives bindings for the 4 extra hot keys
on the Pad that aren't covered by standard binding.

In practice you should setup movement on ESDF
then bind action button keys 1-16 to the keys
around (example below). The visual representation
on the screen has spots showing the movement keys
for orientation. Hence the 16 slots out of the 20
spaces.

You'll find Action Button 13-16 down in the
ActonPad section of key bindings.

Also Provides:
Pad of 24 for the remaining
buttons not being used by paging.

Toggles for the MainBar show hide.

Configuration support for form/aura
switching to switch to a specific pad.

ESDF. (ie:
Action Button 1 -> 1
Action Button 2 -> 2
Action Button 3 -> 3
Action Button 4 -> 4
Action Button 5 -> 5
Action Button 6 -> Q
Action Button 7 -> W
Action Button 8 -> R
Action Button 9 -> T
Action Button 10 -> A
Action Button 11 -> G
Action Button 12 -> Z
Action Button 13 -> X
Action Button 14 -> C
Action Button 15 -> V
Action Button 16 -> B

If you want to hokey forms I suggest
using SwitchF. Using ALT+

NOTE ATM use /ap2 to configure this addon. Allows scaling and the setting of page flips.

Not exactly clear on how this site relates to curse.. but my ohter addons which aren't showing up on curse are

SwitchFAction Pet Bar

    Feel free to dig. My account has lapsed for now. Don't have much time for it.

    This mod is really nice and a must for any ESDF believer. I can't play without it any more! Sadly it has some issues with lagging and buttons sometimes not responding to keypresses. Methinks it might benefit from the buttons being based on something more generic such as Dominos code. That way other addons which enhance the blizzard buttons to show cooldowns or number of casts left would also work on these. Any chance of that? Worst case I'll have to dig into the code myself :)

    Oh sorry guys I found the problem. The wrong folder is in the zip I'll upload a new version. It makes an ActionPad folder which is incorrect it should be ActionPad2.. you can rename it or re-dl in a sec.

    Hmm not sure what the curse installer does but make sure you interface folder has an ActionPad2 folder in it with the files in the zip file.

    On xp the path is \Interface\Addons\ActionPad2

    What does the folder look like? Inside ActionPad2?? if there is another folder in there then that is the issue, should only be files. If there is a folder copy all the stuff in that folder back to the Interface/Addons/ActionPad2 folder. The zip file is made to be extracted in the Addons folder, so it already contains the ActionPad2 folder in it.
