- About WoW Database
This program is based on a program called Quiklook, but I got frustrated when I couldn't contract it's author, or infact, find it's files on my hard drive. Unlike Quiklook or any other program of a similar nature, this does not need to be installed and it can be placed anywhere. All it requires is the Visual Basic 6 run times, which come with Windows XP
I appoligize for the sloppy interface. I plan on having that cleaned up in the next version, probably using a button menu instead of checkboxes.

zhivotnoya saidWell I'm the author of quikLook. I check these boards frequently to see how folks are liking the program. But you said you couldn't get ahold of me.
So what's up?
BTW, the download link is:

Edit: Downloaded your util, but says it can't load because of the .ocx file you are using. I wanted to see yours out of curiosity but since it doesn't load...

jacensolo775 saidRecently my computer was destroyed in a fire, including the source code for this. I plan on restarting it once I get Visual Studio again, but for now, it's on hold...
as to the OCX error, I don't know why that happens.

scoobnl saidNice thinking only the damn popup ad when you exit the program made me not using it anymore.

jacensolo775 saidIf I were you, I'd check my computer for adware. Since this uses a Internet Explorer frame, any adware that infects IE will infect this.

JaimSandar saidThis is real nice, except that I normally use Firefox with the AdBlock Plus plugin to keep me from seeing the stupid ad banners, and with this I have to look at them.

jacensolo775 saidThese sites don't have many ads, do they? :) You COULD try an internet explorer ad blocker, or add the domains of the ads to your hosts file :) Google for both, just suggestions :) Sadly through, I have no way to filter it all out afaik.

jacensolo775 saidSince this file is a program, not an addon, it needs to go through an approval process - for your protection. According to the project administration interface, it's still awaiting approval.
