Description of GankList:
Helps you to keep an in game record of all the players who decide to gank you.
Alters the tool tip background for any enemy player who's name is on your GankList so you can instantly tell whether or not they are on your list.
It automatically prompts you with the name of your attacker if you get killed so that you can easily add this person to your list. (This function is automatically disabled in PvP Battlegrounds).
Easily accessible through a minimap button that you can position anywhere you wish, works well alongside the existing WoW UI and requires no dependencies.
What I have added in the new version:
Added the new Battleground and the Arenas to the automatically disabled function + some bug fixes.
Sharing of the gank list. When you add a person to
GankList it is send to all that have this addon(in the guild). The names you receives is in gray text when you see them in the list of gankers. The number
in front of the names is how many that have added this person.
When you see a ganker from the list, in the world( of Warcraft) the tool tip is orange(your own is in yellow and red as in the org. version)*.
This new version is fully compatible with the original version

Bugfix: now the ganker will be added if he/she was your target or focus.
Installation Guide
- Exit "World of Warcraft" completely
- Download the mod you want to install
- Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
- Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
- If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
- Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
- Windows
- Windows XP a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
- WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
- WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
- Mac Users
- StuffitExpander: Double click the archive to extract it to a folder in the current directory.
- Verify your WoW Installation Path
That is where you are running WoW from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
- Move to the Addon folder
- Open your World of Warcraft folder. (default is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\)
- Go into the "Interface" folder.
- Go into the "AddOns" folder.
- In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
- The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
- Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
- Start World of Warcraft
- Make sure AddOns are installed
- At the Character Select screen, look in lower left corner for the "addons" button.
- If button is there: make sure all the mods you installed are listed and make sure "load out of date addons" is checked.
- If the button is NOT there: means you did not install the addons properly. Look at the above screenshots. Try repeating the steps or getting someone who knows more about computers than you do to help.
Translations
When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of wow. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".
TOC Numbers (Out of Date Mods)
When Blizzard patches WoW, they change the Interface number. This means that all mods will be "out of date" unless or until the author releases a new version for that interface. Some people go into the .toc files and update the numbers themselves, but this is STRONGLY advised against as it will cause problems locating possible incompatibilities addons. When you log into WoW after a patch, you DO NOT have to delete your interface directory. All you have to do is simply tell WoW to ignore the interface numbers and load all the mods anyway. All you have to do is, while at the "character select" screen, look in the lower left corner and click on the "addons" button. A window will pop up listing all your installed mods.
If you look in the upper left corner of that window there should be a box that says "Load Out of Date AddOns". You want to CHECK this box. Now simply go into WoW normally and all your mods should load. As of the 1.9 patch, you will have to do this after EVERY patch/update that Blizzard posts! If you encounter any problems with a mod after a patch, please be sure to let the author of the mod know so they can fix it.

Mac Support
WoW addons are not platformed based. As such, they can be used on either Mac or PC. You can extract both .zip and .rar files on a Mac using StuffitExpander.

body saiddownloaded the 1.9imp.2 version. tonight during Archimonde attempts everytime I died, I would get a good 5-10 second lag spike before the release bar would pop up. Towards the end of the night I would totally crash each death. I turned off the sync option thinking that was it but it did not fix it. Going back to v1.8 for now since that worked fine.

roust505 saidI would like to ad the guys I dont like on our side. I want to add Alliance if I am Alliance, Horde if I am Horde. There are people I wish I could gank on my own side. Like the Warlocks that pull 8 Elementals and leaves others none to kill. I am impressed by their OP, but disturbed by their Selfishness.
I want to add these asswhipes to my list so our guild knows who they are too.
Thanks,
Alliance Wins!!

flabby saidHi
I will love to make a version that can do a loot more, but if I only mod the existing code and use the old data structure the result will be quit bad and some bungle so I will need to start from scratch(which i do not have the time for), I hope i will get some time to start on a new version in 20 days.

Jayc366 saidWhy can't this record race & class along with the name? Also it would be nice to be able to add a notes. For example 'this is the guy that camped me for an hour in stv when i was lvl 30.'
Recording just the name is really not enough.

hitekredneck13 saidThe thing I like and dislike the most about this is the update it does with fellow guild-mates. It seems to only update if you are online when someone adds a name. If I'm offline at the time, I never seem to get the name that was added. This would be a much better mod if it was to sync all the names together. At least manually if not automatically.
Like the mod but could use a lil touch-up!
