original addon by Lightstorm http://www-en.curse-gaming.com/files/details/1607/ls3d-craft-info/

- fixed by g3gg0 to work with WoW 2.0.6 again ;)
- added buffed/allakhazam support
- colorized UB-code generated by craft info (looks nice now ;)

Share your craft information via forums and websites

This tool provides a method to read out all recipes and their respective reagents of a specific craft and paste them to a text file so you can share this information with other people. The text can be plain ascii code or UBB/BB formatted.

Allakhazam (EN) and Blasc (DE) support

When posting a list of recipes to websites you have options to include links to Allakhazam or Blasc item databases.

Post recipe information and reagents to chat

You can post item and reagent links of one single recipe to the current channel to inform other players about the items you can produce and let them know what it takes to manufactor or apply that recipe.

Recipe Watcher

The tool provides a head up display to keep track of an unlimited number of recipes without having the trade skill or craft window open. The content of your bags is checked automatically and the number of available reagents shown in the HUD window.

Notes:

I am not sure why and since when this happens, but the recipe list displayed in the text field is truncated after about 4000 letters. The lower part of the text field appears to be empty, but in fact it does contain text. So just make sure to select everything using CTRL+a before you copy the content with CTRL+c.

- Slash Commands - To open the interface use /ls3d_craftinfo or /ls3d_ci

What if u made a Craftlist 3 with the ability to set prices for example: Old- !enchant fiery *poof* [enchant weapon- fiery] New- !enchant fiery *poof* [enchant weapon- fiery] - 30g and it could do that with a list of options and could be set manually, by AH price for mats (maybe use auctioneer?) or a combo of both! I love this mod soo much I think this would make a huge difference in help though!!!

jewel crafting should be fixed now

  • was hoping someone could help me with the following. I saw this mod and thought it would be great to get my jewel crafting info out there. When I try to get my crafting info into the window I get the following error. Could anyone shed some light on it.

    Interface\AddOns\LS3d_CraftInfo\ls3d.craftInfo.lua:729:usage:GetItemInfo(itemID|"name"|"itemlink")

@Gark2001: give me the URL for english pictures and you will get them ;)

@azazzel-pb: for crafts and tradeskills i use the colors of the ingame tooltip. just the required tools and the tradeskill name are colorized as in the options dialog. maybe ill remove the colors in the dialog.

@zoltaris: well, thanks for the link. but there are no new things i have found there. channel issue was fixed already (and his code didnt have a fix). the only difference i found was the buffed/allakhazaam inclusion that i coded also ;)

@Manchurian: it seems enchanting was never supported (was it?) i added the code so it will work now, enjoy

I am a big fan of this addon from its early days. I used it upto 1.12 patch but when patch 2.0 arrived, it broke. I am glad that its revived and actively under developement again. I have a small remark to make to the new author: Lightstorm, the original author, had version 1.2 out on 22-Jan-06. That was the last we heard of him. He solved some issues regarding the post channel function and other minor bugs. Please use THAT version as the basis for modification. You can find it at: http://www.lightstorm3d.com/download/wow/ls3d_craftInfo/ls3d_craft_info.htm

And yes, there is an error with enchanting with your current version as Manchurian pointed out.

Kudos to you for reviving a great addon.

  • Works for all my professions except enchanting. i get: Inferface\addOns\LS3d_Craftinfo\ls3d_craftinfo.lus680: Usage: GetitemQualityColour(index)

    as my error.

i dunno if it's just me or not, and i read your comment about this but it still happens. my leatherworking list is long and if i choose the setting that shows the description and all but tools needed i guess, i don't get the end of my list. i ctrl-a it and copy and paste but it won't show. i have to just set it to get just the names and then i'll get the whole list. or am i doing something wrong? kinda needed the description too for all of em.
