This is a cleaning mod. Its job it to help a class that can remove debuffs, do it with ease. Load the mod, bind a key (or create a macro "/decursive") and run, no further configuration or editing needed, it auto configures. Run the mod when ever you wish to cleanse a status ailment, or even think one might be on your target, party, or even raid party, if nothing is cleaned, there is no penalty or cool down.

Currently Decursive is configured to automatically select Druid, Priest, Mage, Paladin, and Shaman spells. The spell choice is done intelligently, only casting the level or specific version needed, saving mana. Items might be added in the future.

When you do a cleanse, the following logic is run
* Check target for curable effect, cure if found
* Check priority list (in order) for curable effect, cure if found
* Check self for curable effect, cure if found
* Check party members for curable effect, cure if found
* Check raid members for curable effect, cure if found
* Check pet for curable effect, cure if found (for future felhunters)
* Check party and then raid pets for curable effect, cure if found
(If you are not in a party, or not in a raid, it will skip the party and raid sections)

If after all of this, if nothing is found it will say

Installation Guide

Exit "World of Warcraft" completely
Download the mod you want to install
- Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
- Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
- If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
- Windows
  - Windows XP a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
  - WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
  - WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
- Mac Users
  - StuffitExpander: Double click the archive to extract it to a folder in the current directory.
Verify your WoW Installation Path
That is where you are running WoW from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
Move to the Addon folder
- Open your World of Warcraft folder. (default is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\)
- Go into the "Interface" folder.
- Go into the "AddOns" folder.
- In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
- The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
- Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
Start World of Warcraft
Make sure AddOns are installed
- Log in
- At the Character Select screen, look in lower left corner for the "addons" button.
- If button is there: make sure all the mods you installed are listed and make sure "load out of date addons" is checked.
- If the button is NOT there: means you did not install the addons properly. Look at the above screenshots. Try repeating the steps or getting someone who knows more about computers than you do to help.

Translations

When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of wow. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".

TOC Numbers (Out of Date Mods)

When Blizzard patches WoW, they change the Interface number. This means that all mods will be "out of date" unless or until the author releases a new version for that interface. Some people go into the .toc files and update the numbers themselves, but this is STRONGLY advised against as it will cause problems locating possible incompatibilities addons. When you log into WoW after a patch, you DO NOT have to delete your interface directory. All you have to do is simply tell WoW to ignore the interface numbers and load all the mods anyway. All you have to do is, while at the "character select" screen, look in the lower left corner and click on the "addons" button. A window will pop up listing all your installed mods.

If you look in the upper left corner of that window there should be a box that says "Load Out of Date AddOns". You want to CHECK this box. Now simply go into WoW normally and all your mods should load. As of the 1.9 patch, you will have to do this after EVERY patch/update that Blizzard posts! If you encounter any problems with a mod after a patch, please be sure to let the author of the mod know so they can fix it.

Mac Support

WoW addons are not platformed based. As such, they can be used on either Mac or PC. You can extract both .zip and .rar files on a Mac using StuffitExpander.

I think that this addon no longer works because blizzard, in new patch 2, cancel a lot of funcions... Now, no addon can choice players to decursive or heal, the user must do that (sucks).
The best addon that i found to decursive is SmartBuff http://ui.worldofwar.net/ui.php?id=2323 This addon do buffs, but make decursive too...
If some one found addon better them SmartBuff to decursive, please, post.

I have somehow managed to shift the decursive window out of reach (outside the screen boundaries), so it doesn't show when I type the command /dcrshow Don't ask me how I managed to do it, but I did and I can't seem to get it back to be visable. How can I get the decurse window back so I can see it? (I've even tried to delete and reinstall it)
Edit: Never mind... after a second delete, logging in without the mod and then exiting again, reinstalling and logging back in, fixed the problem and reset Decursive to it's default setup. Would be nice though to implement a command to make the decurse window appear in mid screen or something like that to prevent deletes and reinstallations from happening due to this problem. This is escpecially tedious if in middle of an instance.

i have a rather wonky chat window setup, and i'd like to manually change the text output (nothing cleaned, etc) to a different window.
any idea how i would go about this? thanks!

I also lost my decursive bar outside the game window somehow. The way to fix it is to go into WTF\Account\ACOUNT NAME\SERVER NAME\CHARACTER NAME\layout-cache.txt and delete the frame info for decursive.
A command to reset decursive to the middle of the screen would be appreciated though, most other addons have such a command.

It would be nice Quu to add in the priority list group support.
For ex. if tanks and mages in the group 3 and 4 add them to be scan first so u can add up to 8 groups for 40 ppl raid.

There is a chunk of code referring to <backdrop> which you can safely delete. It stops the freezing or massive lag on a Mac. The debuff list should not have that green backdrop (green indicates an error actually). I have a corrected version here which people can download. The code referenced an addon "multiassist" which causes the problem, if you don't have that addon (I don't).

hey.. great mod.. but cant u make some kind of setups we can chose between..
fx on some fights its more important to cure tanks / priests in other fights casters and some melee etc etc.. so if u could set some basic Prioritie's up for the different bosses in mc/bwl it would Sweeeeet ;)=

from 1.10 patch notes:
dispell type spells will first check to see if theres a effect to dispell, if not they will not consume mana.
guess that means you could remove the checking code, depending how good blizz's is.
