Purpose:

Add a complete (CT_Raidtracker logged) raid (with loots, etc.) with 2 clicks!

Usage:

  1. Install Eris' CT_RaidTracker (Eqdkp & MLdkp) addon from http://www-en.curse-gaming.com/downloads/details/5892/ct-raidtracker-eqdkp-mldkp/
  2. Follow his instructions for copying your DKP string
  3. Go to your EQdkp installtion's Administration Panel and click the link "Import DKP String" under either "CTRT Import" or "Raids"
  4. Paste the copied DKP string into the text box and click on "Parse Log", the rest will explain itself.

Notes:

  • If an item have been given out for bids, add "XX DKP" (XX is the Number of Points) to the Loot note, it will override the DKP value which you might have set in your DKP System)
  • If you are e.g. a German user but want that the Item Names in your DKP are the English ones, then get the itemlist.xml from Allakhazam ( http://wow.allakhazam.com/itemlist.xml ) and store it in the /eqdkp/plugins/ctrt/ folder, then they will be translated automatically

    Is it possible to show the boss name after the zone in the "Raid" column? For example, have it say "Zul'Aman - Zul'jin" instead of just "Zul'Aman".

    I figured it out. If you do /rt o it brings up the options window. The last option at the bottom of the window lets you change the output format. Change it to MLdkp 1.1/ EQdkp plugin then copy your string and import it and it will work.

    I am having the same problem with importing strings. I get the "The DKP String is not valid." error message. I tried doing the /rt oldformat 1 but it didn't work. Will that command only work for future raids after I have done it or will it modify the string out put for existing raids? Or is there another way to fix this problem. Thx.

    Hi - for those having problems importing into EQDKP, there is a version disparity between both systems that can be fixed by forcing CT_RaidTracker to output into the 'old' format - just type this command while in WoW to make RaidTracker produce compatible strings with eqdkp RaidTracker import:

    /rt oldformat 1

    New to this but I've done exactly as all Readme files said
    But anyway, when i try to copy the DKP String i get this message:
    "The DKP String is not valid."

    And I get that all the time, even if i go with and easy string as:

    I've been getting the same problem for quite a while now. I had the only working CT_Raidtracker that would import into my eqDKP without the 'Invalid DKP string' error. I was using version 1.2 CT_Raidtracker (modded).

    Unfortunately, that version doesn't take new instances into account. Also, even though I have given other guild members my version they still seem to be unable to give me a working DKP string.

    When the mod and plugin work this is fantastic, when it doesn't it reminds you what a pain in the arse manually adding all the raids from lists really is.

    So if anyone has got the solution to the 'Invalid DKP string' error, it would be greatly appreciated.

    For those of you having problems with 16.6.6 when clicking on "CTRT Import" or "Import DKP String" be aware that there are some hidden characters that have accidentally been placed at the very beginning of the index.php file. These are most likely causing your issues.

    The easiest way to get rid of the little gremlin characters is to create a new file by the same name. Open index.php and copy and paste it's contents to your new file. Upload the new file as of course index.php and hopefully your problems will be resolved.

    v1.16.8 should fix the problem of strange characters in the front of the file (thanks Fabian for the tip)

    Some other minor fixes. see change log.

    sadly, this is still written for php4 as the install base appears to be larger than php5 :(

    I just install this plugin on a new installation of eqdkp.

    when I try to insert a string I get this:

    on that line. It seems to be because $ievent isn't properly stripslashed.

    If the event has a character that needs to be escaped, then: 

    $ievent = 'Gruul\'s Lair'

    but the array key is "Gruul's Lair". if we do a $event = stripslashes($event) then we'll get past both those error messages.

    ... But that still doesn't solve the problem. Now I'm stuck with an empty "Action Log" pane.

    @ Libbi: I'm familiar with the concept, but there's nothing to paste into. Its not that the page looks blank... it's that the page is completely and utterly empty. (As in, View Source returns nothing at all)

    Update: Reverting back to 1.16.3 seems to have fixed the problem with the empty page.

    Exactly the same problem, 1.16.6 = blank page instead of the import page, worked fine before with 1.16.3.

    @ Tyndel : You need to get your DKP string from within WoW first. Then copy + paste it into the blank box your getting and then parse log.

    I've installed 1.16.6, but clicking on the 'Import DKP String' link simply results in a blank page.

    Running a fairly modified EQDKP 1.3.2e (class colors, itemstats, leaderboard), but none of the things I've tweaked should be breaking plugins.

    Any ideas?

    And all im getting everytime im trying to import a string is Ivalid string.

    the string i have importet is a normal 10 man raid when we went for karazhan and killed 2 bosses maiden and moros.

    Why do i ge tthe invalid string??? have i m issed something out?

    I have installed all vertions before this one btw before tbc WITHOUT any problems @ all. so why this problem now?

    Have a similar problem to Cookie.

    When posting an event the only thing that comes up is "Raid Start" and "Raid End". The bosskills doesn't show up, even though they are in the string.

    Using newest CT_RaidTracker (v1.16.3) import and newest CT_RaidTracker (beta 11).
