At the Character Select screen, look in lower left corner for the "addons" button.
If button is there: make sure all the mods you installed are listed and make sure "load out of date addons" is checked.
If the button is NOT there: means you did not install the addons properly. Look at the above screenshots. Try repeating the steps or getting someone who knows more about computers than you do to help.
Translations
When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of wow. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".
TOC Numbers (Out of Date Mods)
When Blizzard patches WoW, they change the Interface number. This means that all mods will be "out of date" unless or until the author releases a new version for that interface. Some people go into the .toc files and update the numbers themselves, but this is STRONGLY advised against as it will cause problems locating possible incompatibilities addons. When you log into WoW after a patch, you DO NOT have to delete your interface directory. All you have to do is simply tell WoW to ignore the interface numbers and load all the mods anyway. All you have to do is, while at the "character select" screen, look in the lower left corner and click on the "addons" button. A window will pop up listing all your installed mods.
If you look in the upper left corner of that window there should be a box that says "Load Out of Date AddOns". You want to CHECK this box. Now simply go into WoW normally and all your mods should load. As of the 1.9 patch, you will have to do this after EVERY patch/update that Blizzard posts! If you encounter any problems with a mod after a patch, please be sure to let the author of the mod know so they can fix it.

i accidently pressed the minimap icon away, and i tryed typing /mageeye amd /mage but it dont work. What shal i write to be able to go into the options. Thanks in advance
First off...Love this addon...does what it says, very simple and useful.
Second, every so often after killing random mobs, that have not been polymorphed, the audio file plays. Havnt really found a pattern, but thought it might help you to pass this along. Thanks for your work.
the who broke poly is in the works. the sounds are the mp3 files in the mageye directory you can put any mp3 you like in place of them just rename them the same.
can you please add a selectable list of sounds (about 2 or 3) cuz the one you currently use is very, very annoying (maybe you can make some of the ingame sounds that are uses for spells cast by oher classes or something). An option for the volume of the sound would be greately appreciated also. Another request i have is to add a mechanic that tells me (the mage) via an chat message or an on-screen message who broke the damn sheep. (there are addons wich do that but only in the say/party/raid channels and spamming messages is not always good and most of the times annoying). I'm just passing along some ideas here so don't jump at my throat if the coding would be too much to handle. Thank you in advance and i hope to see these ideas featured in future versions of MageEye, cuz this addon is great. (except for that damn sound wich doesn't scale according to the sound volume option (between master volume and music to avoid confusion)).
Due to the new options pages some bugs may popup, Im working to get everthing working like it should. If you have any bugs with 2.3.3 please open a ticket so I know if there are any I have not found yet. Thanks
Is it possible for you to include an audio alert as to when a polymorph is close to breaking? It would help me greatly!
Also, thank you very much for the mod so far. I'm more alert to when my polymorphs breaks now, although as I mentioned earlier, another audio alert that lets me know when my polymorph is close to breaking would be just absolutely fantastic.
I have used 2.3.1 for a couple days and have a couple problems...not sure why. First, when I poly something and then change a target, the timer bar stops at the point when I changed target and doesn't continue counting down (didn't do that in 2.3.0). Second, I've used 2.3.0 and 2.3.1 and I've yet to be able to get the text to display in chat when I poly a target. I've had to load MageAnnounce to get it to say I'm morphing somethings and this addon for the timer. 2.3.1 does give me the sounds when a target breaks the poly. Unfortunately, I'm downgrading to 2.3.0 to get the timer back. I really like your addon, though. Hopefully you can fix it.
Just a quick suggestion - when you upload your zips, can you put the version number on them? That would save me having to do it when I download them.
Ok I have tested 2.3.1 and all functions work... Using focus for poly target provides a more accurate count down. The poly text is only shown when in party or raid.

firegrove saidI get that same error on a regular basis:
["message"] = "Interface\\AddOns\\MageEye\\MageEye.lua:52: bad argument #4 to 'gsub' (number expected, got string)",
It comes up when I'm in combat and try to sheep someone. The sheep works fine, but I have to click through the error to get it to go away.
I was hoping that you could look at it - but it doesn't appear that you're checking this page anymore.

I received this error last night for the first time:
["message"] = "Interface\\AddOns\\MageEye\\MageEye.lua:52: bad argument #4 to 'gsub' (number expected, got string)",
Just thought you might want to know about it.

Aeltari said1) No text displays on polymorph, settings are correct
2) No sound/text on polymorph breakage
3) No sound/text on curse
Only thing that is working is the poly timer.
