Installation Guide
- Exit "World of Warcraft" completely
- Download the mod you want to install
- Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
- Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
- If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
- Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
- Windows
- Windows XP a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
- WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
- WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
- Mac Users
- StuffitExpander: Double click the archive to extract it to a folder in the current directory.
- Verify your WoW Installation Path
That is where you are running WoW from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
- Move to the Addon folder
- Open your World of Warcraft folder. (default is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\)
- Go into the "Interface" folder.
- Go into the "AddOns" folder.
- In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
- The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
- Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
- Start World of Warcraft
- Make sure AddOns are installed
- At the Character Select screen, look in lower left corner for the "addons" button.
- If button is there: make sure all the mods you installed are listed and make sure "load out of date addons" is checked.
- If the button is NOT there: means you did not install the addons properly. Look at the above screenshots. Try repeating the steps or getting someone who knows more about computers than you do to help.
Translations
When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of wow. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".
TOC Numbers (Out of Date Mods)
When Blizzard patches WoW, they change the Interface number. This means that all mods will be "out of date" unless or until the author releases a new version for that interface. Some people go into the .toc files and update the numbers themselves, but this is STRONGLY advised against as it will cause problems locating possible incompatibilities addons. When you log into WoW after a patch, you DO NOT have to delete your interface directory. All you have to do is simply tell WoW to ignore the interface numbers and load all the mods anyway. All you have to do is, while at the "character select" screen, look in the lower left corner and click on the "addons" button. A window will pop up listing all your installed mods.
If you look in the upper left corner of that window there should be a box that says "Load Out of Date AddOns". You want to CHECK this box. Now simply go into WoW normally and all your mods should load. As of the 1.9 patch, you will have to do this after EVERY patch/update that Blizzard posts! If you encounter any problems with a mod after a patch, please be sure to let the author of the mod know so they can fix it.

Mac Support
WoW addons are not platformed based. As such, they can be used on either Mac or PC. You can extract both .zip and .rar files on a Mac using StuffitExpander.

Arrowmaster saidCkknight hasn't been keeping his addons updated on other sites recently. The version currently posted here is old. You can get the latest version from http://files.wowace.com/FuBar_MoneyFu/FuBar_MoneyFu.zip, and the latest versions of any other addons by Ckknight from files.wowace.com.

Just got an other error about an other lib folder -.-
Seems to be an error like the one from jcksnps4.
Any way to fix it?

jcksnps4 saidDoes this mod now require some other mod? I try to keep my bank toon with minimal mods, and I like to have this one enable so I can see how much I have total between all my toons. But I'm getting an error that refers to the Blizzard "FrameXML" lua file.
I know there have been some changes with the use of Rock with quite a few Ace2 mods, so I need to know what other mod to enable to make this go away.
BTW: it still works great on my "standard" ui with Fubar and everything running.

painstorm saidI'm also a bit puzzled by "This week" numbers. I was expecting a monday-sunday count. But it just seems to be counting for the last 7 days which doesn't make it very useful. To me it would be much better to see this weeks gained/spent compared to the numbers from last week.

CloudsBreak saidFirst of all EXCELLENT addon for the FuBar collection but I have a question... the below pic is a snapshot of the mod freshly instaled but that aside... is there anyway to add a "month" figure into that... having session , today , yesterday and week totals are nice but I think this mod could be imrpoved with a "This Month" figure, Ty. Oh and two more quick things before I forget hehe... how come when you click to pick up money it only lets you pick it up by the g... doesnt matter to me thats just more of a curiosity thing seeing as how I never need to pick up gold bec its all done in trade etc... Also in what file do I need to go into to capitalize the s in "This session" ?
Edit 2 : Welp, its now sunday and the data hasnt been "reset" so I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume you have the week startings on monday... will know tomorrow...
Edit 1 : The day & week rollovers do they reset by the clock on the server turning to midnight 12am or does it rollover according to the system clock of your computer ?

Manaman saidNeeds to be brought up to date, please. I love this addon as it tells me more than the titan panel money plugin ever did. But it isn't assessible by Fubar 2.0, while there are other more needed addons that are only compatible with 2.0, so I had to upgrade. Could you please update, thanks.

blackrat saidPlease, could you make it compatible with DepositBox http://www.curse-gaming.com/de/wow/addons-2845-1-depositbox-continued.html
Currently if I put some money in the deposit box, MoneyFu shows me toatal money (bag and depositbox), all other frames and add-ons that show the gold like auction-frame, bags, ... show only the bag money (talal minus the deposit amount).
I alreaddy send a GM ticket, because got worried from the amount in MoneyFu and thought I lost some money in auction house.
Would be great for the deposit box users!
