About

Automatically issues emotes back to the people who emote to you. It has a built-in cooldown that automatically kicks in when ever your character does a manual or automatic emote. This lets you interact with others via emotes and not have the auto responses interrupting untill the cooldown period is over. It also offers delayed functionality if you have the Chronos addon installed. This gives the impression that you are typing out the response, instead of an automated response.

AutoEmote (Full) offers a UI interface for users who would like to edit their settings or emotes and even add new emotes to their response list. Another handy feature lets you define a default response to guild members, in addition to a separate default response to other people.

it wouldent take much (relatively) to add it so instead of codeing it myself ill ask you, i need an addon that will bind emotes to certian actions (specifically sinister strike == /tickle tho i want it to be on a cooldown, say once per target per 5 minutes?) specifically to taunt and annoy the victoms of my twink, thanks!

Corrected ownership of this file as per request.

AutoEmote is up to version 2.21. I was going to update this Curse-Gaming website with the recent addon history (the current as well as previous versions) but it seams that Mr. bitbiter has control of my addon on this website making it impossible for me to update it any further.

If you are interested in downloading the current version, please visit the owner's website here at: http://www.orgrimmar.org/addon.php?id=3 If you'd like the Curse-Gaming website (this page) to be updated, please help me to inform bitbiter that he is trying to take credit for other's (my) work. Thank you.

This addon doesn't work for me, it's loaded into the right place, it comes up as loaded in the addons screen of WoW but doesn't actually do anything in the game.

    Is there a configuration screen?

    Hello bitbiter

Thanks for the prompt response, what I meant was that autoemote doesn't seem to respond when for example someone /thanks, and i was wondering if you have a list of what is meant to happen and if it was configurable. I have noticed that I start dancing when people dance nearby (quick trip to ironforge...) but I haven't seen anything else.

Would you mind providing a list of what it's meant to do please? Thanks.

If this becomes overhyped, emoting has no end :P

That was a consideration early on, which is why I built-in a cool-down timer so that recursive emote battles don't happen. ;) The default period is 40 seconds so if you type an emote or it auto-responds, the timer starts and AutoEmote won't automatically issue another response until a the cool-down is over. Typing emotes restarts the auto-response cool-down too.
