About ZHunterMod

Useful additions to make a Hunter's life even easier!

NOTE: To move buttons, first hold ALT then drag the first button.

INCLUDES:

ZAspect, ZTrap, ZTrack, ZPet Spell button bars to save space. Hold ALT to Drag the first button. Key Bindings available for all buttons. Use /zhunter to access options.

ZAutoShot Casting bar for auto shot. Use /zautoshot to lock/unlock the bar for movement.

ZAutoStrip Button to strip your valuable gear. Right-click to auto strip when you next leave combat (feign). Hold ALT to Drag the strip button. Use /zstrip to access the options. Possible commands: display, toggle, or now

ZArcaneDispel Shows which spell you remove from the enemy. Use /zhunter to access options.

ZHunterTranq Cooldown bars for other Hunter's Tranq Shot. Shows misses and includes options to announce in chat. Hold ALT to Drag the frenzy bar around. Use /ztranq while a Hunter is selected to add it to the rotation. To reset and hide the bars, use: /ztranq clear

ZMisdirect Broadcast your misdirection casts in multiple channels. Use /zhunter to customize

ZAntiDaze Removes Cheetah and Pack when you or your party gets dazed. Use /zhunter to turn on/off

ZPetAttack Key Binding to have pet attack or return if already attacking.

ZPetObey Key Binding to have pet stay or follow.

Installation Guide

Exit "World of Warcraft" completely
Download the mod you want to install
- Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
- Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
- If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
- Windows
  - Windows XP a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
  - WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
  - WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
- Mac Users
  - StuffitExpander: Double click the archive to extract it to a folder in the current directory.
Verify your WoW Installation Path
That is where you are running WoW from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
Move to the Addon folder
- Open your World of Warcraft folder. (default is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\)
- Go into the "Interface" folder.
- Go into the "AddOns" folder.
- In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
- The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
- Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
Start World of Warcraft
Make sure AddOns are installed
- Log in
- At the Character Select screen, look in lower left corner for the "addons" button.
- If button is there: make sure all the mods you installed are listed and make sure "load out of date addons" is checked.
- If the button is NOT there: means you did not install the addons properly. Look at the above screenshots. Try repeating the steps or getting someone who knows more about computers than you do to help.

Translations

When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of wow. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".

TOC Numbers (Out of Date Mods)

When Blizzard patches WoW, they change the Interface number. This means that all mods will be "out of date" unless or until the author releases a new version for that interface. Some people go into the .toc files and update the numbers themselves, but this is STRONGLY advised against as it will cause problems locating possible incompatibilities addons. When you log into WoW after a patch, you DO NOT have to delete your interface directory. All you have to do is simply tell WoW to ignore the interface numbers and load all the mods anyway. All you have to do is, while at the "character select" screen, look in the lower left corner and click on the "addons" button. A window will pop up listing all your installed mods.

If you look in the upper left corner of that window there should be a box that says "Load Out of Date AddOns". You want to CHECK this box. Now simply go into WoW normally and all your mods should load. As of the 1.9 patch, you will have to do this after EVERY patch/update that Blizzard posts! If you encounter any problems with a mod after a patch, please be sure to let the author of the mod know so they can fix it.

Mac Support

WoW addons are not platformed based. As such, they can be used on either Mac or PC. You can extract both .zip and .rar files on a Mac using StuffitExpander.

First issue I have with this is the first "Aspect Bar"

The first "Button" toggles between the next 2 buttons for some reason. Doesnt matter what I hit, or what I change, the first one just toggles between the two.

Any ideas why?

I have a bug for you: if my hunter is without any aspect, and I click "aspect of the hawk" within this mod, my character says: This spell is not ready yet...
Anybody know a workaround for this problem?

i bet you put trueshot aura on one of the 2 first places. if yes, then change this and the problem should be solved.

i just noticed that there aren't enough keybindings for zaspects

edit: i've solved this problem myself by editing the Bindings.xml file and now i have some more keybindings =)
i added these few lines:

Great mod!
But, with latest version, I can't find the way to change Arcane Dispel/Trap Resist report frame. I mean, I don't want it to show in Channelframe(self) but I want it to display in MSBT(or something else) I hope you understood my point :) Sorry for bad english. Thanks in advance

Thanks for this Great mod, Just wanted to ask if its possible to add an ammo restocker/low ammo warner, I know ammognome restocks but hasnt been updated for 3 months and it would be cool to have an all in one mod, Thanks again.

with the latest version, my misdirect won't announce like it used to. I used to keep the mob targetted, hit misdirect & click on the tank's raid bar to MD to them & Zhunter would announce it as the player's name that I clicked. The default upon install is %s which doesn't work. If I change that to %t of course, it announces whatever I have targetted. What would be the correct command to announce the player again even when I have the mob targetted?

This addon rocks as it is. I really dont know what I would do if u stopped maintaining it.
One thing I would love to see would be the option to see the distance between me and my target at target frame.

Can we please get the option for aspect bar to not switch between the first two? Also the ability to turn off tool tips would be great. Thanks for the update.
