Battlefield Commander (BFC) is the long-awaited successor to the Warsong Commander collection. It is a drop-in replacement for the stock battlefield minimap, but provides many new group coordination features. Note that this is NOT compatible with Battlefield Stretchy Map, a proof-of-concept mod I released a while ago. Please remove it before installing BFC.

A quick list:
- drag-resizable minimap
- pings
- color-coded raid icons and tooltips
- usable in any zone (/bfc displays the minimap at any time)
- narrow mode trims the fat in battlegrounds (WSC-style)
- easy-access group communications menu with voice alerts
- group waypoints and objectives, Battlefield 2-style.

  • I just discovered this mod a few weeks ago (which is unusual since I seem to be an addon fanatic). I fixed the problem listed below in my own files but the problem I'm having now is that the overlay on the world map areas is continuously covered in fog (as if the area has never been explored).

    I'm thinking it might be a conflict with Cartographer as it only happened when I opened Cartographer after I installed BFC. It has been this was ever since.

    I tried fiddling with all of my cartographer settings to see if I could correct the problem but nothing worked.

    I know this addon seems to have been abandoned but if anyone out there knows how to fix this, please let me know. :)

    Thanks a bunch.

    PS: I just discovered that when I log out and back in BFC is fixed, but as soon as I click Cartographer the fog returns and covers BFCs map. Cartographers map remains fine.

    I like this addon for good information panel, but it stoped working since 2.1 patch. The problem is API was changed, but info panel in AB\WSG can be simply fixed by adding an extra var at GetWorldStateUIInfo function call. Simply change HelperAB.lua at lines 302 and 303 from

    local _, ascore = GetWorldStateUIInfo(1); local _, hscore = GetWorldStateUIInfo(2);

    to

    local crap1, _, ascore = GetWorldStateUIInfo(1); local crap2, _, hscore = GetWorldStateUIInfo(2);

    that worked for me. You can do the same thing in WSG helper, this should help too.

    I dont care other bugs, if they exist, but want info window show me usefull stats =).

    PS Can anyone point any better iformative addon, with EoS support?

    This mod has conflicts with Shim's Kill Map (aka SKMap)2.2. With Skmap running, when hovering over an enemy player with the cursor the battlemap will disappear.

    How do I make the health bars appear? Is there a /slash command? I don't see any option when I right-click anywhere.

    Edit: NM :) I didn't realize there were key bindings.

    Maybe I'm overlooking something obvious, but... I closed the stats window and haven't figured out a way to bring it back up again without removing (and thus reseting) the addon's saved variables. "/bfc" brings the map up but gives no other options, even if I use "/bfc help" or "/bfc ?" as per other addons' functionality. I looked in the documentation and didn't see any other slash commands available, the Key Bindings section didn't seem to have anything for this (one thing looked promising, but then it didn't work, and then I realized that BFC's key bindings are bleeding into CT_Raid's - CT_Raid's fault, probably, since they never seemed to label their bindings properly before), and right-clicking on the window title from the minimap didn't help either. What am I
