- About Wardrobe2
{{{
- !html
Wardrobe2 allows you to define unlimited equipment sets known as 'Outfits'. It then lets you switch between these outfits manually or when you mount or change forms/stances. This makes it easy to manage gear sets when in different forms for druids and shaman. It also allows you the ability to switch equipment when in specific stances for tanking or DPS. You can also swap equipment when in stealth mode.

Antharion saidI have a problem concerning the use of socketed unique gems. I have a helm with a unique gem and a pair of shoulders with the same one.
It seems like when Iswitch between two outfits, the helm gets switched first (and cannot be equipped, since the gems are unique). This is ok, but after that, the helm gets stuck in my inventory, and I have to relog to equip it or move it in the inventory.
If I manually switch the shoulders before switching outfits, the problem is gone, but all too many times I forget about that :S
Is there any way to solve this?

FrankSpencer saidI was getting a problem with Wardrobe2Fu throwing a string formatting error when trying to create submenus for deleting/updateing sets;
if (Wardrobe2.db.profile.Outfit[i].name ~= nil) then //************************* Added
dewdrop:AddLine(
...
)
end //**************************************Added
Added those two lines around the code segments at approximately 112, 125, 145 sorted the problem.

Kelem saidDruid flight form doesnt benefit from any speed enhancing effects right now. Carrot, crop, spurs, gloves enchant, nadda.
At current time blizzard has yet to reply if this is working as intended or not, but I don't see them changing it or fixing it (if it is in fact broken).

belleboom saidOne thing I miss is being able to set an outfit for certain situations, liek The Plaguelands, and have my gear auto-switch under certain situations. Maybe this is no longer possible post patch 2.0, but if it is, I'd be interested in Plaguelands (not as important to me atm but others might need it) and particularly for eating and drinking, as I'd like to auto-switch into my spirit gear to mana up.
Thanks for a great mod:)

g8or saidHello all
I changed my strat from my last post. The prob was Wardrobe2 was saying it could not find AceLocale-2.2 anywhere. My previous post of taking Ace2 out and putting it in a seperate folder and getting Ace2 files from SCT works, but this new way is easier/cleaner.
Just download Wardrobe2, uzip the files, put them in your interface folder and then do the instruction below. The issue is Wardrobe2.toc doesnt reference where AceLocale-2.2 is. All you need to do is open Wardrobe2.toc with notepad and add
libs\Ace2\AceLocale-2.2\AceLocale-2.2.lua
Save it and Thats It! G8or
Below is what my Wardrobe2.toc looks like with the added line.
libs\Ace2\AceLibrary\AceLibrary.lua libs\Ace2\AceOO-2.0\AceOO-2.0.lua
libs\Ace2\AceEvent-2.0\AceEvent-2.0.lua libs\Ace2\AceHook-2.1\AceHook-2.1.lua libs\Ace2\AceDB-2.0\AceDB-2.0.lua libs\Ace2\AceLocale-2.0\AceLocale-2.0.lua libs\Ace2\AceConsole-2.0\AceConsole-2.0.lua libs\Ace2\AceAddon-2.0\AceAddon-2.0.lua libs\Compost-2.0\Compost-2.0.lua libs\Dewdrop-2.0\Dewdrop-2.0.lua libs\FuBarPlugin-2.0\FuBarPlugin-2.0.lua libs\Tablet-2.0\Tablet-2.0.lua
libs\Ace2\AceLocale-2.2\AceLocale-2.2.lua

g8or saidIf your getting errors heres what you do to fix it.
Take the Ace2 folder out of the wardrobe2\libs\ and place it all by itself into the World of Warcraft\\interface\addons.
This places the Ace2 files as a seperate addon which is what we want. The only prob is that some of the files arent updated.
To correct this download the mod SCT (scrolling combat text). Once downloaded take all the files that are in the \libs\Ace2 folder of SCT and copy them into the Ace2 folder you created as a seperate addon. The Ace2 folder when done will have 18 objects in it.
Dont forget to put a check next to the Ace2 addon in your addons interface within WOW.
Once done Wardrobe2 will work correctly on its own.

Kiddkyler saidI have been using the addon and love it. But lately I have been getting errors and the addon will not allow me to update or delete outfits using the minimap icon. The icon is there, just when I scroll down to the delete or update i get: Interface\addons\wardrobe2\wardrobe2Fu.lua:114: bad argument #2 to 'format' (string expected, got nil)
I can still do things the old fashion way by in chat /wd update ...
I have reinstalled and done several things but it is getting annoying. Any help or fixes?

xtrem saidSo, BiggerNoise, what are we supposed to do with that code in order to make it work with druid forms?
Im wondering if its possible to make Wardrobe to switch Idol when it detects you have 5 combo points, since you can switch while in combat. I would like to have this feature specially with this Idol:

BiggerNoise saidI have hacked in a fix for this add in so that it will correctly shift outfits when Druid shapeshifting occurs.
I think the problem was that the Forms database was never populated. I copied the code from the mounted outfit and it seems to work.
I hope I haven't made a hash of your design, if so I apologize in advance. At any rate, here's the new function:
-- this event is called when an aura changes (used for mounted and stances function Wardrobe2:event_PlayerAurasChanged() local tmpForm = self:util_GetForm() local _, englishClass = UnitClass("player") ----------------------------------------------------------------------- -- Stance/Form Stuff here ----------------------------------------------------------------------- if (WARDROBE2.CurrentForm ~= tmpForm) then if (englishClass == "ROGUE" and tmpForm == "") then WARDROBE2.CurrentForm = "No Stealth" elseif (englishClass == "DRUID" and tmpForm == "") then WARDROBE2.CurrentForm = "Normal Form" else WARDROBE2.CurrentForm = tmpForm end -- lets look for the outfit number for this stance local tmpOutfitNum = 0 if (table.getn(self.db.profile.Outfit) > 0) then for i, each in ipairs(self.db.profile.Outfit) do if (each.name ~= nil and each.name == WARDROBE2.CurrentForm) then tmpOutfitNum = i break end end end
--self:Print("Found Aura Change outfit Named: %s", tmpOutfitNum) if (tmpOutfitNum ~= nil and not self:util_IsPlayerMounted()) then if (englishClass == "DRUID") then self:WearOutfit(tmpOutfitNum, true) else self:WearOutfit(tmpOutfitNum) end end end
