  •  

In short, Bagnon is a group of addons that improve the way the player manages his or her inventory.

Addons

  • Bagnon: Displays your inventory and bank in single frames.
  • Bagnon_Forever: Optional, allows you to view your bank, and the inventory of any of your other characters from anywhere.
  • Bagnon_Tooltips: Optional, tells you on item tooltips which characters of yours have the item, and where
  • Bagnon_Options: A load on demand options menu

Features

  • A single, customizable display for your inventory and one for your bank
  • Color coded item slots and borders
  • Ammo and Soul Bag item slots are colored yellow
  • Profession bag slots are colored green
  • Keyring slots are colored orange
  • The borders for items are color coded based by their quality
  • Can view the bank and inventory of your characters from anywhere.

Usage

Viewing

  • When enabled, Bagnon should be fully integrated into the UI.
  • Bindings can be set to show or hide the your inventory or bank
  • The slash commands /bgn bags and /bgn bank can also toggle the display of your bags or bank

Searching

  • Double click the title of your inventory or bank to search. Searches recognize both the names of items, and any item type, subtype, or equipment location.

Moving

  • When unlocked, simply click and drag on the title portion of the frame (<Player's> <Bank | Inventory>)

Hiding a Bag

  • Click a bag within your inventory or bank to toggle the visibility of the items contained within it

Customization

  • Right click on the title portion of your inventory or bank. A menu will pop up with a bunch of options for modifying the appearance of the frame.
  • From here, you can do things like change the frame's background color, layer, scale, or opacity
  • To configure general settings, use /bgn menu

Slash Commands

  • Commands can start with either /bagnon or /bgn.
  • /bgn bags - Toggle the display of your inventory
  • /bgn bank - Toggle the display of your bank

    I love the add and the abilities it has< one suggestion I used to use baggins and liked that I could sort things. I swap weapons allot (warrior) skilling them all current in practice and normally when you swap it goes where ever there is a free spot. In baggins i could use the weapons category functionality to not worry about it. But since i have multiple crafters i need your ability to look at what is on which of my chars in game. I would love to see a hybrid or joining of the 2 addons.... just a thought.

    I absolutely LOVE this addon and don't know how I got along without it. Just one thing would make it perfect, at least for me. That one thing would be the ability to see the bags/banks of the characters on my 2nd account! You see, my wife and I both love this game so we have two accounts so we can play together. However, we don't know what we have or need across accounts, which creates a lot of duplicate stuff and wasted gold. Could the solution be as simple as copying files from one WTF account folder to the other one?

    Something's up with the tooltip part of the mod, every time i mouse over an item in my bags, it shows each character, and how many of that item they have twice, as if there were 2 of the same character. Got any clue?

    Awesome addon. Been using this for a while now. I have only one feature request. My old addon had a feature that allowed me to set it to always stay open. I miss this feature. Any chance Bagnon could add this? Right now anytime I close a merchant window it also closes.

    Heya.. I just installed bagnon for the 1st time.. it shows my inventory alright.. but when i visit the bank.. it comes up as a blank window, with only the default space.. no bags or even items.. and i know i have a full bank.

    also the /bgn will not work

    Any ideas?

    What im wondering is how you can purge old characters from the tooltip? I've tried relogging in WoW and re-installing Bagnon but to no avail.

    Is there any way to make bagnon just work for your inventory bags and do nothing to the bank? I like everything all in one for my regular bags but it just seems to be too much for the bank and I like to use the blizzard frames for that. I used to be able to ocnfigure it that way but for the life of me I can't figure out how I did it or if I can still set it up that way.

    I would like to have the exact opposite : use Bagnon single frame for my bank, and NOT for my inventory.

    It was possible in the previous version I had, and I really need this option... But I can't trigger anymore my usual inventory bags...

    EDIT : Reverted to old version of Bagnon while I wait for the answer...

    if you type /bagnon and THEN right click to go to options, it works, but not until you type /bagnon

    For some reason, names are doubling up in my tooltips. For every character I have, there are two entries for that character on each item they have. Like:

    JohnDoe Bags:30
    JohnDoe Bags:30

    I have the latest version, everything works great beside this. Very awesome mod! ;)

    This will always happen with recipe items (plans, patterns etc).

    This is because the OnTooltipSetItem handler is always called twice for recipes (presumably once to put the recipe itself into the tooltip, and again to set the item the recipe creates).

    I've tested this with all addons disabled except a test addon.

    Hey Tuller, man I love this addon but here's the thing. I've been using it longer than I can remember, right after the allinone addon broke and never updated I ran across this one anyway..

    The last functioning bagnon version I had was 1.4.9. I just updated a couple days ago to 1.5.1. Since then my option window doesn't work, I have Khaos config, when I use to check the enable Bagnon_Options on the list it would open the option window right there for me to chose. Not anymore! Also the right clicking on bank and inventory name doesn't open the options for those niether. I'm guessing there's something wrong with mine, I'm going to try and clean it out and unzip the 1.5.1 in there again...

    seems Thorakon is having the same issue that I am, I wish he would tell me if his is working right now
