The pulldown option for role selection is nice, however some classes can respec into other roles with the right gear. Having an option to select multiple roles for a character would be rather nice.

We usually put in note for player if we are able to respec to something else.

The problem is that when you sign up for an event you really need to commit to what role you plan on filling, even if you are flexible.

I guess what you're thinking is that it would put you into a fallback role if your first choice is full. That'd be kind of nice and I'll keep it in mind, but it's unlikely I'll ever get around to it given the number of changes needed (UI for managing role priority, changes to the auto-confirmation system to move you into your alternate choice, plus an indicator on the event icon or something to make it clear what role you're supposed to come spec'd for.
