Very usefull addon for direction to follow on boss ability "Fatal Attraction"

Basically this mod was made at first for guildies, who had some troubles spreading out. So, what does this addon do? It gives the direction which to run to people affected with Fatal Attraction. First person will run towards boss spawn, second towards entrance and third will stand still or go close to a wall.

Actual commands support:

/mom mode - Changes between New and Old arrows models.
/mom lock - Changes arrow position.
/mom reset - Resets arrow position.

/mom test - Test the addon.
/mom check - Check raid members for addon.
/mom - Displays this help commands.

--No dependencies, raid leader must have addon--

The assignment to "playerModel" is interfering with another addon which happens to use the same global variable name. (I'm also reporting this to them.) I'm working around the problem by making the variable local (in both addons, in case I download a new version of either one). In EasyMother's case, I'm simply declaring "local playerModel" at the end of the block of constants at the top of EasyMother.lua.

Can't wait to try it out! Some of our raiders are... direction-challenged...

My arrows no longer rotate with my toon in Version 1.9

  • April 29, 2008, 11:35PM (1 week, 6 days ago)

use the /mom test, does it rotate? Is "rotate minimap" option on or off? try to check then uncheck that option.

Version 1.9 now supports "Rotate Minimap" option. Thanks Miesje for bug report

We were using 1.81 last night but some times on the 3 person FA, people claimed at least 2 would both get a STOP and other times it would be STOP then another sec or 2 later switch to an arrow.
Anyone else experienced this or chalk it up to server->script lag?

that's pretty odd really, the only thing changed between 1.7 (2.3.3) and 1.81 its the way the combat log gets read. The only explanation would be server lag or even blizzard bug. Anyway, keep feedback coming if someone else experiences the same problem

Edit: It was indeed a bug, it was fixed in version 1.82

I've updated addon due 2.4 Combatlog changes. Tho, it wasn't tested yet and I won't have time to do it anytime soon, so please test it and give some feedback. tks

Version 1.81 fixed a bug that would prevent RL from broadcasting if "Self" was selected on combatlog filter.

Anyway, still need some feedback from 2.4 changes... is it working properly?

    Works perfectly! Thank you.

For some strange reason this addon was deleted from curse some days ago. Its now up again, will have next update as soon 2.4 comes out.
