NATIONAL DISCRIMINATION?

can someone please explain to me why is it so, that I pay the same for the game as any person living in:

Participants aged 15 or more residing in: France Belgium United Kingdom Luxembourg Participants aged 18 or more residing in: Germany Austria Sweden Finland Denmark Norway Ireland The Netherlands Spain

and yet I am not etitled to taking part in Blizzards contests? Hell, in relative terms i pay even more than they do and yet I get less value for my money. Had someone told me that I am going to be discriminated in such humiliating way I wouldn't buy this dumb time-consuming game in the first place. Can anyone give me any reasonable explanation why aren't all european countries treated equally?

The reason is purely of legal matters, It has nothing to do with discrimination.
