Srsly, hope some good info comes out soon :(

I guess it depends on what your definition of "good" is. Some people may have some very personalized opinions on this matter while we have a broader point of view on the subject as we are making a whole expansion. I think it is good to know things you are going to be encountering in the world, which is why I have enjoyed the Beastiary and especially the in-game screenshots of the new creatures.
Just because it is something that doesn't directly affect your class or the parts of the game you enjoy most, doesn't mean it isn't "good" info. :)
I personally liked it when bornakked leaked the shattered sun offensive as a dalaran faction.
Haha, that's cute.
By info I think he meant something along the lines of info pertaining to classes, in a detailed way like Talent trees, mebbe info on some of the new factions, or some zone overviews, hell even some funny videos form the Gnomergan News Network!
This is info we'd love to get to you and will probably get out as development continues on the expansion.
While the beastiary stuff is interesting, its not what some of us who are more into the finer details of this game are looking for.
Finer details can be seen as things that take longer to develop and test before they are ready to go too. ;-)
With BC we seemed to have had a steady flow of info, every few weeks we would get the current plans for the updated talent trees. Even if they were only to get revised shortly after (lol, who remembers when Shadow Priests were going to get their own shadow form version of flash heal?)
I just think people are worried that its moving on a bit slower than BC which is good, but surely you must have something to share with us?
Information for The Burning Crusade came at the same speed really and we had the same complaints back then on taking too long with it. All of our memories might be hazy by now, but I think the talent trees didn't come out until almost a year after TBC was announced, if anything I think the Beta testing was happening so people could get in and play around with them.
We share information as things are finalized and ready. Waiting can be tough but every day that passes is one day closer to new information, just keep in mind that doesn't mean it will be the one nit picky thing you are looking for. Details on the whole expansion are being shared bit by bit, the Bestiary, Environments, Story, and Dungeon details we have shared so far are just the tip of the iceberg.
haha get Iceberg, Northrend lol, Bornakk your so silly
I enjoy making myself laugh.
How about some more storyline? Just why did we wait until NOW to attack the Lich King? What prompted us to go now instead of later, hm?
When the time is right for the story to continue, it shall be told.
This is a lame response. You know exactly what he means by 'good' and trying to dance around the issue by trying to argue the meaning of it is just plain evasive. A picture and super short description of a creature you will be facing is 'neat', but not 'good'. There is nothing exciting about this.
The comment in the second paragraph was especially pathetic because it tries to demean the initial inquiry by reinforcing this argument over what 'good' is and insults the OP as a result. Fact: Looking at a picture of some damn mutant elk is no one's definition of thrilling. Find me one person who does consider reading bestiary entries the most enjoyable part of the game.
To each his own really. I personally consider it good information as you can start to see the new lands you will be adventuring in and I do find it exciting to check out.
If someone is waiting for only specific information that is beneficial to their chracter(s)/playstyle, they may have to wait while we discuss and send out information regarding the whole expansion. We don't expect everything we talk about to be someone's favorite part of the game, but other people can definitely have another point of view and it may be something they enjoy reading/seeing.
Rather, they're saying "How far along are you and how much do you have left to be done?"
Which in turn is basically asking for an ETA on when Wrath of the Lich King will be ready to launch. If you have been playing our games for awhile, you know that we do not release games or even information on parts of the games until we feel it is ready. Knowing everything would be great, but it is not that time yet.
No, no, no. You are comparing unlike things. Giving proof that things are progressing is not the same as giving out a release date. It is simply letting the public know that production is still proceeding as planned. Because right now, we don't even know if you're still working on it at all or if you're completely focused on 2.4 and a future 2.5.
They are very similar things as previously it was asked "how much is done?" - If we gave an amount, people would then run with it to guess how far there is to go and therefore feel it is hints at a release date.
While it's a worthy effort, I'm not going to spill any beans. I can assure you that development of Wrath of the Lich King is still proceeding as planned. I hope you can take my word for it. ;-)
Granted new content is fun, but more types of PvP with good rewards for it aside from being pidgeon-holed into one form of PvP (arena) is an example of what I mean.
So, maybe an entire outdoor zone dedicated to PvP with destructible buildings in it? Working on it already. :)

Srsly.
P.S. And I don't mean no stupid bestiary update for a mob. [ Post edited by Paws ]
