I feel the guide is lacking, there's not one behavioral suggestion at all. Item breakdown is okay, but every one hat his own priorities and possibilities.

And just let me say, 2500+healing and 208MP5 is not balanced at all, way to little mp5!

The critical strike balance the mana regeneration just fine, as mentioned in the article. There's several suggestions on how to behave in PVE. Perhaps they are just a given to yourself or you don't play the way I suggest. We all have our own ideas on how to do things.

kelduag, spell crit is your main MP5 (in comparison), its along the same lines as spirit is a priest bread and butter, but mp5 helps out.

I'd agree with Keld, about the lack of behavioral suggestions. Also, I feel that many of your points aren't very well-explained. Many people who already do those things will understand perfectly how to do these types of things, such as the gem choices, and other gear-related choices. Simply telling people what to do is not enough, you've got to explain why you think you're right.
There are definitely some gear points where I'd disagree with you, though. Holy paladins live and breathe both Intellect and +spellcrit. Your talents already give you a natural bonus of +5 FoL spellcrit, and +11 HL spellcrit. I may be wrong, but coupled with Illumination, Blizzard is trying to tell us something: Stack spellcrit. Intellect is by far the greatest thing we can get, because it increases our mana by 16.5, our +damage and healing by .35, and our crit by .0125 each point. I think you undervalue stats.
As a guide to gearing, I also think that this is mostly directed towards the T6 paladin, and not every paladin is T6. There is one ring from ZA, no badge rewards, and no pvp rewards. I personally think that the Vengeful Gladiator's Ornamented Gloves happen to be some of the best PVE healing gloves in the game, and I think they at least deserve mention.
An incomplete and lacking guide, imo.

It's geared towards people that want to progress from tier 4 to tier 5 and then tier 6 gear. Since the raiding encounters are extremely easy after all the nerfs -- it shouldn't be a problem for most to reach that far eventually. Otherwise if you remain stuck at tier 5 gear for instance, then this is a guideline on what you can obtain if you get further eventually.

I killed Illidan in June 2007 and it's now March 2008. That's quite awhile ago. Having said that, I already said in the article that I will not cover badge rewards and pvp gear. It's covering PVE only (excluding badge rewards -- might do another article when there is time). Plus, I do not see it being vial to focus on INT. I'm sorry to say that theorycrafting usually get you nowhere when comparing to experience and knowledge of the class. It's just numbers -- might look good on paper, but, not in reality.

Of course not every paladin is tier 6, we all have different goals and playstyles. That is why this guide cover tier 4, tier 5 and tier 6 PVE gear -- obtained by PVE'ing. Excluding badge rewards. It's a raiding guide so to speak.

If you follow my steps you will end up with an extremely powerful paladin in PVE.

I have seen a few people mention Grid as a good healing addon, but from what I have seen you have to configure it a lot before you can begin to use it. I personally use Healbot Continued. In parties and raids I dont even use party/raid windows. I have my window, the targets/targetstarget and healbot window. It comes pre-configured pretty well for a paladins or any class for that matter. It handles buffing much better than pallypower in my opinion. Sure pally power directly shows you what other pallies are going to buff with, but during my trial run with pally power it just seemed complicated and unneeded if the addons only purpose is paladin buffing assignments. Healbot is a universal buff/debuff-removing/healing tool. If other people in the raid have healbot, it will allow you to see who is currently healing someone so you dont waste an entire heal as an over-heal, which is just wasted mana.

From my experience as a holy pally, and a prot pally, as I have the kara gear for each spec. This guide seems to be written by one of those close minded raiders who think their way is the only way. The addon guide needs a lot of work. Since the guide was geared at pally healing, focus on healing addons good for a paladin. Not your entire addon setup.

Sesheron i hope u enjoy raiding kara cuz if u cant set up grid u cant raid anything past gruuls. Ive used heal bot and its not that great at all. u probly like healbot cuz u dont know how to make healing macros. on the part of pally power if u cant set that up u should realy think about rerolling another class like a watervendor (mage) so u can get invites to any form of MUD. Pally power IS THE S#!( thats all i got to say if u cant see that well......... as i said enjoy kara
