YES I agree 100% if there was more democratic control of society you could see changes immediately for the benefit for everyone and not just the elite few at the top of society.

A clear example here in Australia if it was put the people then we wouldn't be involved in the wars in the middle east, there would be the right for people of the same gender to get married and finally we would tax the rich and stop people getting kick out of their house because of the subprime housing cries.

and if the mass of people had a choice then they would start taking action that is in there interest and not what is in the interest of big business which scares the elite the most

If you are a fury warrior in BC and you already can't deal dps with the best classes in a raid then you are terrible. We didn't need a PvE dmg increase, now the other classes will need increases ect ect. We need balance not to be made god mode, all this causes is more problems.

Heh, the thing about it is, Blizzard changed the game mainly based on one aspect of the game. They made a few PvE changes for the better but most of the changes lately have been made because of arenas. In my opinion, I'd rather not have the government follow suit because then anyone else outside of their ideal aspect of life would be screwed.

There's also the fact that more often than not (not excluding myself here) people cry for what they want, not what they need. The most popular choice isn't always the best choice and in a number of cases the right choice is the choice no one likes. So governing a country with the intention of pleasing the crowd is bad thing. I'm not saying they shouldn't listen to it, but there's a big difference between considering all points and doing what Blizzard does.
