Here dense forests surround a vast arctic wasteland littered with the massive, gleaming bones of perished dragons. In the center of this frozen expanse lies Wyrmrest Keep

WotLK Website Update: Dragonblight

its starting to look better and better(compared to TBC ofc no other game intended for this comparison ;D)so chop chop on that texturing and shaders.

WotLK Website Update: Dragonblight

Indeed, the new zones from Wrath of the Lich King seem really nice so far.

WotLK Website Update: Dragonblight

hmm... Interesting =)
I'm glad I pre-ordered 4 months ago ^^

Northrend looks to be very nice, and if they bring the "epicness" back to epics (Arena S1 *cough*) and raiding (2.4's attunement-removals, anyone? :\), WotLK will REALLY make WoW shine again, like it did in the old Azerothian days... =D

Like it is now, with the welfare (PvP) epics, everyone who wants can have a full set of PvP-epics with equal quality to T4 the second they ding 70, that's IMO just not right! =(

WotLK Website Update: Dragonblight

Yep, even though WoW lacks high polygon stuff, their way with textures and shaders is simply amazing. Haven't played an MMO with the same vivid feel to it so far.

WotLK Website Update: Dragonblight

Even when keeping the technology on the low tier to allow everyone to play, it's amazing what can be done when it's put into the right hands :) As TBC was a huge graphical upgrade from much of Azeroth, I can't wait to see what they will do with WotLK!!

I remember when I first entered Hellfire, Nagrand, Netherstorm, and especially Zangermarsh, I spent a long time just wandering around amazed at the environments. Here's hoping they can pull it off again!

WotLK Website Update: Dragonblight

I agree.
I think most people who disagree are people who have joined after TBC came out. What I think they lack to understand is, before TBC there where only BoE epic's, epics from 40man raids (with ZG/AQ 20mans joining later), and... Epic gear for the devoted PvP'ers (competing for the top ranks with the rest of the server).
This meant you had to make a real effort to gain those epics, while now, to get the S1 gear, (or any arena gear for that matter), all you need to do is to participate, win or lose, it doesn't matter. You gain something with little (or no) effort. That's why its called welfare epics.
However, if you strive for the top end PvP gear (weapon/shoulders), I'm fine with it. But the rest you can get too easily.

Edit:
Those "thumbing" me down, please write a reply and explain why.
I really have no idea why you want to cheapen the game, and make rewards less "rewarding".

WotLK Website Update: Dragonblight

World of Warcraft is a game set in a fantasy world, populated by unreal but magical, characters which are divided into nine classes. Here is a very simple guide, to help the new and inexperienced player, find out just who is who in this magical world.

Druids are warriors who can take on many guises, including that of a caster. As this, he can perform spells of different types, damage, healing, offensive and defensive. He is also able to bring players back to life after they have been killed during combat.
