Upcoming changes to professions

Blizzard poster Crezax, released some information about possible future changes to some, if not all WoW professions.

Blizzard will rework the professions to be more useful to players. First on the list is engineering, but all professions will be carefully examined. Unfortunately there is no set date for these changes as usual, nor can be confirmed how extensive these changes will be.

IMO one of the best things they could add (to engineering) would be a kit that enabled you to add gem sockets to existing non-socketted items.

I hope people are remembering to renew their engineering memberships in game, and accessing recipes there.... I definately want to level up enough to make a Poultrizer

Nearly ALL the armor creation professions (bs/as/ws) are pathetic compared to similar level instance drops, EXCEPT for one or two ones that prove useful.

Having fishing in more alchemy things would be good :P

    (yay fishing buddy)

Overall moochewmoo that can be said for most professions sadly. Most armor/weapons that are crafted are nothing more than something to hold you over until you get that first dungeon drop. I'm looking forward to what they say

Finally! Im an engineer on my main, and its still at level 300 because I have absolutely no use whatsoever to get it to 375 :S What, make myself a blue gun that costs 400g for the schematics and then a crap load more for the mats, don't think so o.0

I would love for them to put in a feature that lets Blacksmiths repair gear/weapons.
