October 11, 2006 - Qalia is a continent where violent sandstorms sweep across arid desert sands baked by the blazing sun. It's a land of legends and superstitions, with innumerable accounts of deities, wars, monsters and heroes. Some of these tales are derived from ancient fallen empires like those of the Mordebi and Qaliathari. The island chains that comprise Kojan are also steeped in history. In the Imperial city, Tanvu, the Half Elf and Kojani human residents strive to restore its past glory. Within the jungles beyond that hold the ruins of settlements swallowed in ages past, the Wood Elves and their allies, the Raki fox people, dwell together for protection from the many dangers surrounding them. The perils in the port of Martok include the resident Orcs and Goblins, both constantly on the alert for opportunities to relieve unwary adventurers of their gold.
