Sil's Icey Wrath

Level 33 in 3 days. Thank you Recruit a friend!

So normally you expect to take it a fair while before your riding around on your sexy mount. Level 30 after all, is a long way away. No longer however. Recruit a friend makes levelling easy, with 3x the experience when you play with your friend. Travelling isnt much of an issue with instant friend to friend summoning, not to mention the free mount you get after your recruited friend pays for their second month of play. The only downside is, the triple XP stops at level 60. But by then your so awesome it doesn't really matter all that much, as helpful as it would be.

All you have to pray for is rested xp breaking, 6x the experience is frankly just awesome. And let me personally reccomend the mage/retro team, because together there really isn't much you can't do.

RAF= Rote Armee Fraktion, german terrorist organisation from the 70s to early 90s :)

Hate to burst your bubble, but Rested XP does not Stack with RAF. In fact, your rested stays saved for when you are on your own during leveling. I hit the 150% cap and never left it. The 300% / 3x XP has a downside too, in case you haven't noticed.. and for kills, its actually 150% XP. Simply around the same amount you get for killing rested, now you say... "no I get 200% solo!" Yes, indeed you do.. but remember you are in a group, so your XP is downgraded by about half.. Which makes it 50% of normal XP, add the RAF bonus, +300% and you get back on 150% Breaking it down: Solo 1 kill = 100XP Solo (rested) 1 kill = 200 XP Two man Group 1 kill = 100XP/2 = 50 XP RAF + Two man group = 50XP x 300% = 150% So its more XP than you get Solo, but its less XP than you would get rested. What the big player however is.. is the fact that you can go on for ever.. and not loose that +50% XP bonus. And the best thing actually is Quest XP reward bonus, you do not share it with your party member and it is actually QuestXP x 300% So a Quest normally giving 5000Xp now gives 15000 XP. The level granting: Only the recruited account can grant levels to the Veteran Account. You get 1 level per 2 levels leveled. This means you get your -last- grantable level at level 59. A total of 29 Maximum. Level 60 = 30, but since you get your first level when you ding level 3, since level 1 didn't count as a level and level 2 was the first of 2 levels. And you'd have to become level 61 to gain the second level of the one you got when you "would ding 60" When the char on the RAF Recruited accounts dings level 60 he looses the ability to grant levels. (There is a known bug that you keep them to grant later on, but it is not -intended-) You can only grant levels to a char lower level than you. 3 days to level 33 is a very long time indeed.. I think you mean it took you three evenings of leveling, @ 4-5 hours a night. Not 3 days /played in-game. I can get a char to level 60 Old-Style in 3 days /played.

RaF is helpful, we've been going particularly slowly due to having university courses etc

Leveling one's Death Knight to 59 would be a bad idea, as there are quests you must do for your mount/talent points.

But yes.... RaF makes leveling so quick. Also nice to keep a few of the free level ups for Wrath, would take your DK from 55-59 in a few secs :)
