I joined a newly formed guild yesterday named <Bones> first raiding day was today. I didnt get an invite because my imba druid was saved and my newly dinged Death Knight was too low geared. Later on I found out that half the raid was ulduar geared and the rest was full valoros so they had been disenchanting all the boss drops... Cant really say that they are smart. I mean.. They could have brought some members that actually need the gear instead of just taking the best geared ppl in the guild and then de the drops...

 

Wellwell.. Thats life. Not fair. We'll c how the next run goes.

    Agree with zooose  completely. I would never take a freshly dinged 80 newcomer into a raid. I don't know you, I don't trust you=I won't put you into the raid. Dude, do some dungeons, gear up in blues at least, try to earn some trust first, get into a few heroics, make your first emblems and maybe then you have a right to complain. You are a newcomer to a raiding guild and THEY owe YOU? Be serious.

    A guild should always bring a few undergeared players/recruits and gear them up to add depth to their raid team.  I think having 30+ raiders available to your guild who are geared for further raiding is better than picking up a few enchanting mats here n there ....

    That's the whole point, take him and teach him. If the other 24 people are wearing gear sufficient enough that most of it got DE'd - I don't think they'd suffer for taking one undergeared person along.

    So you're complaining.. that.. they didn't invite your alt DK wearing insufficient gear for the content that was being worked on? Doesn't sound like a very worthwhile blog or even something worth whining about. Not to mention why would they bring a DK who just hit 80? Would you even know wtf to do to be of at least 10% of the value of any one of the 24 other people in your raid?
