People living in certain areas of the world have never been allowed to participate in contests, although they pay the same (or sometimes higher) fees for playing the game. Blizzard has always hidden behind "local legislation" excuses when confronted with this issue - then how do other companies run similar international contests with no problems? Personally, I have participated (and won an award) at a similar contest organized by Sony some years back.

This is announced as a "Global" contest, but check the official rules and you'll see that the eligible countries are limited. This is usually called "false advertising" but I suppose you can get away with it if you're making more than €110 million per month.

World of Warcraft has given me lots of fun moments, but also lots of frustration. It was the first MMO game I ever played and it will probably be the last.
