Our Blondes are trying to get their gear by working for it from the Bottom up. This means running the instances in order. Currently they are working on Stratholme, Scholomance, NAX, BRD, LBRS, MC and those areas. Not easy places even for 70's.
I won't Rant about no one wanting to run any instance other then Kara right now. Lets just leave that thought at *Freaking NOOBs! all they want to do is get to 70 then complain about Kara timer resets*, but that is for another day
The largest problem with these places is finding anyone to run them. Well, make that anyone that is Qualified to run these instances.
Oh, sure there are the walking Agro Cirlces that beg to tag along. "I have the quest therefore you have to take me along." You seen these toons. Minumum level with minimum gear for their level. Thier first words in an instance like BRD are "wow, how this place is huge!" followed by "heal me!", closely followed by the pestering rant of " Rez me!"
"Rez Me" feels like fingernails on a chalk board to a Priest. Most of the time when these Agro suckers die first in combat they want to be rezzed in combat. Not going to happen. First the fighting has to stop and I am not talking about the mobs, I meant the group has to stop fighting over what caused the 35 mob pull.
"Boot him" is a popular phrase after this Agro Addict causes a third wipe. This is a nightmare for a group leader. They know they can't run without a 5 man group and importing a replacement into BRD or Strath is a real problem of time.
One method the Blondes employ is to just let the Walking Mob Magnets be the tank for all new encounters. The strategy is to let them take the brunt of hits but not to waste resouces healing them. This follows the "You Spank it, You Tank" philosphy of many Mages. So our "Death Tank" gives the group plenty of time to wail important mobs and saves mana for healing useful group members.
