"Stick a shadow priest in my group so I only need 40 mana pots, thanks."
Might look like an exageration, but I'm afraid I'm not joking.
After about a week of not raiding because... well.. we don't know, we decided to pony up and get back into the loot gathering cycle.
We stepped into SSC and later on TK and cleared them in a night.
As per the usual, I didn't get a single piece of loot. Anyway, after the raid, one of our priests said something along the lines of "Man, I used up 10 mana pots tonight, thats crazy, I never use so many".
This of course made me smile a bit, and then proceed to tell him I usually go through a good 20 to 40 depending on the night. There was alot of "Nuh huh, you're kidding", followed by corovoration by the other mages in the guild.
Now, with the upcoming nerf to evocation (It's a nerf if you pve and have a spirit weapon set like you should), which usually saves me from using a pot cooldown or two, and the fact that you have to spec arcane and use mage armor to get 65% of our already measly mp5 while casting, and then, if you're specced fire, you need to crit to get your mana efficiency (It's nice when you crit on a clear cast though, hehe), I don't see myself spending less than my usuall 500g a week on pots anytime soon.
On another note, will someone please tell me if there's some sort of vodoo chicken dance, or something of the sort to make a better weapon drop for me now that I have the DKP to pretty much guarantee me my next drop of choice? I'm kinda tired of using staff of infinite misteries.
