Maybe Blizzard wants us to move to Dragon Oath, for the looks of it, it will be way better then wow.

Yay!  Mages get another dress!  Damn it, give me trousers (pants) to wear!

Ya, warrior and dk are just fillers. No way in hell blizzard is going to make each one of them look like holy warriors. As i said before, suck it up.

Sure some art is recycled, but does it honestly matter? You still look badass. Stop caring what other people are wearing, it's not like you notice you are doing something worthwhile. (Raiding = worthwhile. Sitting in Dalaran, not worthwhile.)

By the way, you know texturing alone is a pain in the ass right?

megaman is right this should be pvp gear

The new tier 9 sucks they all r identical maybe the color is different but who cares.

im also a warlock that has like priest gear from uldar. now when t9 comes out the warlocks and mages and the priest will all look the same. same with the shaman and hunter t9.

i saw the warrior t9 on google and the t9 for pali looks exactly the same.

As I see it they are fitting to where they come from...

Seriously they come from the new raid dungeon which is a Circle of Blood like dungeon, and because of that I think it would be cooler if it looks like the gear is something that fits such a place, rather than punked as looking gear.

duckheads: I don't think Blizzard would post these on their official WoW site if they were placeholder art. :)

  • Sat, Jul 4 2009 12:57 PM ()

the first third and fourth are the exact same design, different color. numbers 2 and  are the same design, different color. if this is the final for T9... idk what... ill do

  • Sat, Jul 4 2009 12:31 AM ()

This would fit better as a PvP set... not PvE

  • Fri, Jul 3 2009 6:44 PM ()

I'm guessing these sets are currently placeholders. Its unlikely (IMO) that these will be the final design for T9. If this turns out to be the final design though, its going to be a shame. :(

I suspect the idea is to make Allies and Horde look like an army with their shoulderpads on fire instead of bunches of ragtag mercenaries with their shoulderpads on fire. Kinda detracts from the feeling you're a stand-out hero, easily recognisable in the thick of battle.

Anyway, not too bothered since I won't see any of these sets for at least two years the rate I play...

These sets look a lot like what they did with the level 60 PvP gear; Dull, and armor classes are identical, besides the color. "A hunter just rolled on my healing shield" comes to mind.

Very true if you notice when Wrath came out, all the teir sets began to look the same...   first they all went black [in color] now this? lol yes indeed sad...

Also I think a surefire sign that Blizzard is getting lazy is the names of T7 stuff; all the same T3 except "Valorous" and "Heroes'" in their names...

I want simple badass gear without all magic glowy stuff like T1 + T2 for a change :P

    this is just sad.....

I'm a warlock and the gear I picked up from Ulduar already makes me look like a priest! Now I'm forced to look like the rest of the caster classes?!?

I hope they put a fart trail on warlocks to make us stand out, like they did with Tier 3/7 armor, lol.

Wow, they get lazier and lazier.  Priest/Shaman/Mage all have exactly the same set, but no wait the COLORS are different!  WAY TO GO BLIZZARD!
