Executive vice-president of product development Frank Pearce talks WoW 2, StarCraft 2 and Diablo 3

Blizzard is sitting pretty at the moment. Having just announced that the world's most popular MMO, World of Warcraft, has got even more popular, with an astonishing 9.3m subscriptions across the world, the US developer can afford to employ its famous mantra "it will be ready when it's ready" whenever it's asked about games in development. Interesting read, though Pearce is dodging, even though that should be expected.

Personally I hope they don't focus on WoW2, there is no need. WoW is still so expansive that there can be an indefinate amount that can still be put in. Only when the story line starts to fade abit should they consider WoW2.

As for Diablo...I say get with it. I started the MMO genre with that game as many did and am very eager to see a triple hit.

I'd vote for Starcraft: Ghost. Moreover I vote for PC version of this because games with style like that insane rare on PC.

if it's ready when it's ready then why do we constantly have patches changing the classes. there was a time when wow was pretty polished. now it's on EZ mode.

because if they dont patch it nobody will keep playing, would u still be playing wow if it was still as crappy as it was when it came out? (crappy as in comparing to now) with no raids, few instances and no silithus loot? (ya i remember that :p)
