Blizzard Studio Tour Video, Daily Blue, Warglaives
Blizzard have a pretty awesome 24/7 gym, a huge cafeteria and a museum. Yes, a museum; showcasing every single piece of Blizzard history piece there is. The 'Make Love, Not Warcraft' South Park episode script is even there. There's even information about when Warcraft was brought up in space (they were unable to play it, though).
The 2v2 Queue Times
There is a change in 2.4.0 that will allow the servers to kick up more arena instances in a shorter amount of time, generally lowering the amount of time it will take to get into a game with an equal amount of people queuing. We want to avoid calling this a one time "queue cure" as we're still not entirely certain how the changes will affect queue times under full load. Especially considering the increase in activity we see with any major patch release.
I think they're guaranteed to have some effect, but if it isn't an adequate impact we'll need to make further adjustments.
Cogent connection issue
As we previously mentioned, there's issues with people using/relying on Cogent. It's still in the process of being resolved.
Cogent has decided not to exchange traffic directly with TeliaSonera’s AS 1299 or indirectly with AS 1299 through a third-party provider. As a result, Cogent has partitioned the Internet and disrupted the flow of traffic between Cogent and TeliaSonera customers. While this has a negative impact on some users of the Internet, this effect is the result of Cogent’s decision and is unfortunately beyond TeliaSonera’s control.
Loot Generation
Drysc posted about loot generation:
Loot is generated upon creation.
As soon as you step into an instance, or a mob is created in the world, the loot that's going to drop has already been determined.
What are the variables in the random generator's kernel, is it based on some attribute of the players in the raid, or the raid leader?
Heh no, I believe it uses a time stamp to seed the generator. So, there's nothing you can influence within the game that would alter or coerce the generator.
6 Warglaives in 15 kills, 40% droprate
Network Knights a German horde guild have been very fortunate; in 15 Illidan Stormrage kills they have had 6 Warglaives drop. That is not all, though. Out of those 6 Warglaives, there's 3 of each part -- making it three (3) complete Warglaive sets. Crazy.
You can see two images below that show information from their DKP site and a screenshot of the 3 rogues with the Warglaives.

NevermindzWow, wait... You know, the droprates are totally random...
This guild is very lucky, but there are also guilds that have been killing Illidan for months and didn't even see one Warglaive.
By the way, the museum is freakin' cool! So, my question is: is it open to public? :)
