Isle of Quel'Danas Overview Now Available!

News | March 3, 2008 (6 months ago) | by Kody | Filed in World of Warcraft

The content team at Curse.com has been hard at work to bring you the best 2.4 coverage you can find, and we're excited to release the latest feature related to World of Warcraft's next major patch -- arguably the largest content patch since the game launched -- the Isle of Quel'Danas Overview.

This overview was created to provide quick access to everything about the isle's new content, including information on Magisters' Terrace, Sunwell Plateau, new Daily Quests, the Battle for Sun's Reach, and much more.

Keep an eye out in the coming days as we'll continue to ramp up our feature set for 2.4, all in preparation for patch.curse.com's return -- your one-stop source for everything WoW 2.4!

Is it possible to get to exalted and get the title just from doing daily quests, or does rep stop coming at a certain point? If not, everyones going to be running around with the title "of the Shattered Sun" or whatever it is.

Exalted reputation is going to be fairly easy to achieve but the title "of the Shattered Sun" also requires a donation of 1000 gold. This should probably keep the title a little more unique.

We'll have a Shattered Sun Offensive reputation guide coming soon that will detail how to reach exalted as well as what rewards you can gain from your standing.

I'm sorry, "arguably the largest content patch since the game launched" ? Since TBC launched, perhaps, but I don't think a single small zone, a single 5 man instance, a single 25-man instance, and associated loot, constitute the largest content patch since launch of World of Warcraft.

If I'm wrong, please tell me what I'm missing, because I should be more excited!

This is the most content being added in a single patch that I can remember. The number of new quests (especially daily quests), the number of new items, new ways to obtain older items, two new instances, an outdoor area (granted it's relatively small), a world event, revamped Midsummer Festival, new fishing daily quests, etc.

There's a lot of stuff going into the patch. :)
