Extended Maintenance and Patch 2.4.3

All US realms will be offline for 8 hours (from 3am to 11am PDT) and Blizzard will probably apply the patch 2.4.3 to the live realms.

Here are the latest official Patch 2.4.3 notes. We will update them with the live patch notes as soon as they are available.

Patch 2.4.3 Undocumented Changes

- Landro Longshot in Booty Bay suggests that the name of the next TCG expansion is titled "Drums of War"; this TCG expansion will include 3 new loot cards: Big Battle Bear (Screenshot), Party Grenade, Taunt Flag. (Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2)

- Not really undocumented, but there is a new revamped ingame clock system. Automatically sets to your Time zone and shows the Realm time zone. by clicking on he old time icon. A New clock has been added at the 6 o'clock position on your minimap which displays the time with out hovering over it. You can set Alarm Message to pop up if you lost track of time cause you play too much. there is also a 24hour mode and a stop watch feature as well. (Screenshot)

- The first parts for Stormwind Harbor are showing up,  you can find the Harbor entrance at the northern canal wall between the Park and Cathedral districts in Stormwind. <The Royal StoneCutters Guild> and various Construction worker Npcs have been added to stormwind for the Harbor, you can witness the new npcs two of which can open a chat dialog box explaining whats going on and the new construction zone between The Northern area of The Park and Cathedral Square. - All non-combat pets have had their levels changed. Not quite sure what changes there level. Assuming where and what type of level area obtained it can vary from 1-70. Pets from SW orphanage quest are lvl 1 - Shattrath lvl 20. Disgusting Ozzleing farmed from a 55-60 epl zone - level 55. High level 70+ instance/zones/Quartermasters - level 70. (Source)

- New Quest NPC Don Carlos and his White Stallion have been added just out side Gadgetzan Graveyard in Tanaris. Quest name "Nice Hat..." Defeat his old self in the Caverns of Time within the Old Hillbrad instance Bring his Hat back as Proof. Not a Chain. (Source)

- Tauren Chieftains Band (LV70ETC) now play a Live Show within the World's End Tavern. Not sure what the time difference is for ever show but its always at the top of the hour as usual. (Source)

The NPC Haris Pilton located in Shattrah, is now selling the following items (Screenshot):

* Gold Eternium Band - 3000 gold (no stats)
* Noble's Elementium Signet - 2400 gold (no stats)
* Ruby Shades - 2000 gold (no stats)
* Sapphire Pinky Ring - 600 gold (no stats)

Brewfest

Some changes to this year's Brewfest have been added to the PTR for testing purposes, one of them is the addition of a new boss lvl 70 in Blackrock Depths - Coren Direbrew, who is located in the Grim Guzzler. The mole machine directly to the right as you zone in should transport you to the Grim Guzzler, so you won't have to clear all the way up to him.

From what we learned his loot table include 4 different epic trinkets and 1 epic melee dagger.

Coren Direbrew's loot table:

Dark Iron Smoking Pipe (Caster DPS Trinket)
Brightbrew Charm (Stamina Trinket) -> summon a Brewmaiden (The Brewmaiden fights and has a buff aura which heals the party for 71hp/2s)

Hallow's End: 2 new items

The Hallow's End event was up for testing on PTR 2.4.3, this year Blizzard added 2 new items to Headless Horseman's loot table: The Horseman's Blade and The Horseman's Reins (Screenshot)


WWI 2008 Mini Pet: Archangel Tyrael

New in-game cosmetic pet added with patch 2.4.3.

The code for the in-game World of Warcraft pet that was provided in the goodie bag at the 2008 Worldwide Invitational will be usable at our Pet Redemption Webpage after patch 2.4.3 is released in the near future.

After you have received the in-game code from this webpage, the Alliance will travel to Stormwind and the Horde to Undercity to visit a new NPC where you will be able to claim the in-game pet.

New TCG Rewards - The Hunt for Illidan Loot Cards

UD World of Warcraft TCG Loot™ Cards give players who receive them access to unique World of Warcraft MMORPG in-game items. All Loot™ Cards can only be found through the UD World of Warcraft TCG.  The Hunt for Illidan Loot™ items will be available for in-game redemption after Blizzard’s 2.4.3 patch.

Walk like Illidan
The super common Loot for this release is The Path of Illidan, from the card “The Footsteps of Illidan.”  Players with this Loot item can walk or run throughout Azeroth, leaving a trail of green glowing footprints.



Be the Life of the Party
The uncommon Loot in The Hunt for Illidan is D.I.S.C.O., letting players start a party anywhere! Indoors or out, this Loot item comes complete with a disco ball, swirling lights and music! Any nearby players, even of a different faction, can join your party and dance.



Enter the Ethereal Realm
The rarest Loot in The Hunt for Illidan is the Ethereal Soul-Trader.  This in-game item becomes a full-sized Ethereal cosmetic pet, who will collect souls for you and deposit Ethereal money into your bags.  With this Ethereal money, you can buy any of the Ethereal Soul-Trader’s  ten unique items!  Anyone can view the items, but only those lucky enough to have Ethereal money can actually buy them!

New TCG Tabards

For the first time since the launch of the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game, The Upper Deck Entertainment (UDE) Points Store will be expanding its World of Warcraft In-Game item offering, with six new tabards. Each tabard will feature a different colored variant of the Black Flame logo featured on the back of World of Warcraft Trading Card Game cards.

Starting after Blizzard’s 2.4.3 patch, the UDE Points Store will roll out these new tabards.

The Tabard of Nature will be green; the Tabard of the Arcane will be purple; the Tabard of the Void, black; the Tabard of Brilliance, white; the Tabard of Fury, yellow; and the Tabard of the Defender, orange.
